tis cool i stopped playing over xmas will pick it back up at end of month when the spartan ops is back up.

343i really do not care about fixing there game and talking to there fan base they made this quite obvious by now, stop using there forums will only wind you up.

ManThatYouFear, I don't know why you see this. I've still been playing Halo Infinity Challenge, not to win the tank necessarily and have not come across any cheaters so far. I just played yesterday night and it was fine.

i never said i saw cheating did i? i have seen some awesome glitches though, yesterday my kid was playing flood and when he died and turned to flood his avatar stayed as a spartan, so he just ran round and slaughtered everyone lol

But there forums are horrid, there not like bungie they dont answer anything they just avoid everything.

Mixed feelings. I'm not Frankie's biggest fan, but he's pretty good for a community manager.

They're put in pretty awful positions, anyhow. I don't personally blame him for it, but his job forces him to spout some pretty ridiculous spin at times. He's the one who assured us that the game did not have perks and wasn't following Call of Duty. That was all a bunch of bullshit. On the other hand, he's even willing to admit that Halo 4 isn't the best Halo game ever. Maybe it's damage control, but it's more than I expect from your average community manager.

They become the face of the game, and a bit of scapegoat at times too. I'm sure that's intentional too though. The public needs to assign blame.

Yes, Phaethon, still playing Halo 4 SP. It's why I wanted the game. The game delivered bigtime for me. Amazing first effort from 343. Can't wait for their followup.

I agree, still playing Halo 4 SP. Try it with different skulls activated, it keeps the challenge/fun going. Makes you revert to new tactics. I can't believe how fun they made forerunners.

Sure, if they have the incredible incineration cannon, it's possible, but that's easily avoided if you simply keep an eye out for it and carefully follow what's going on around you. And then, sure, you don't want to be up close and personal against a promethean wielding a scattershot, either, but even these examples hardly qualify as being able to 1 shot you from wherever whenever.

The lightrifle is another amazing weapon for them at range, but, again, it's no one shot, in my view. I think what you might be getting confused with, is the fact that it can feel that way when you're surrounded and being fired at from all kinds of enemies, and a promethean just happens to be present. They naturally are the type where you want to credit them for what just finished happening to you, but it isn't always the full story. Sometimes they merely finish you off in a weakened state, when you were already sustaining enough punishment from elsewhere to make you more than vulnerable to a seeming 1 shot from a promethean. I think the prometheans have better overall ai than the covenant, easily. A promethean is the combination of the watchers, the crawlers, and the knights, and they all together make for an impressive set of ai opponents.

exactly. MTYF, when you make a statement like that it either means you have not even played the entire game, or youre just hating and wanted to say something. the knight wielding incineration cannon only comes up at certain key spots, i think of it much like a mini-boss. but whatever just an opinion.

but anyways, im not just talking about the knights though, when you come up against knight/watchers/crawlers it just fits together like a really nice glove. cant explain it as much as you just have to experience it, and if you still dont enjoy it then whatever.

compared to that, covenant are fun, but those shields annoy the crap out of me...every single time.

Also, it's very difficult to claim he's being attacked simply because we are saying we disagree with his statement, and are giving specific reasons for why we disagree. It's simple. I don't see how anyone could play Halo 4 and come to that conclusion. I mean, no way are those two things about no AI and instant one shot from a promethean knight wherever, whenever thing true. That's just not accurate. And it's not like we threatened to drag him outside and kick the crap out of him for voicing his opinion or anything.

That comes much later.

I'm pretty sure that's an attack. It did +4 damage, but it recoiled +48 DMG in idiocy back in amerikan's face.

And yes, the Knight's can kill you very easily with a melee, a shotgun, or a binary rifle blast. Oh yeah and the Incinerator. See, that's 4 ways.

Sure it's fun (as I'm sure even ManThatYouAllNowHateForSomeReason will attest) but it's very often cheap.

no because the crawlers dont carry bolt shots and binary rifles right? the knights dont carry binary rifles long range scatter shots and cannons right? and the watchers are just plain annoying
and if all those 1 shot items fail to succed in beating me in my wall camping while battling through on hardest setting.. they will just teleport right infront of my face and either A: shotgun me or B: bash me over the head.
