Transformers: Prime. For a kids cartoon it is pretty good. Better story than the Bay stuff too :P

Warrior. Best movie I have seen in a very, very long time. If you even remotely liked Rocky this is a must see.

Monsters.

What a terribly boring, slow, pointless, utterly mundane film. People speak highly of this film, I guess until they actually watch it.

I'm disappointed that this is the guy Hollywood chose to do the Godzilla remake. I'd rather watch a 90 minute compilation of Merryl Streep's acceptance speeches.

Stop whining Phaethon and go re-cut the Prometheus trailers, call it a movie, upload it to YouTube, become famous, and get the next-next-Godzilla remake. Problem solved! Oh, and we can all enjoy the short version of Prometheus ;)

Seriously, go do that. I think it would be awesome to watch a 5 min Prometheus movie that takes cuts from the loooong trailers, maybe splices a little Alien(s) in here and there, and viola! A free Prometheus pre-screening!

saw Star Trek last night, awesome movie...but the ending got me. I wish it was a beginning of a new Star Trek tv show...the characters, the stage, the CG were all really awesome (the story was a weak but whatever)

Mass Effect 2 had alot man, even in Mass Effect 1.
Hell, Mass Effect 1 had plasma as "bullets" and each shot you fired there was a lensflare to it (I personally liked it more than ME2 and 3, nice effect).

Syndicate is totally exagerated., lets hope movies dont copy that off.

Pretty much all the Geth have lens-flare eyes.

On topic: Finally got around to watching Die Hard 4.0, it was pretty decent but not as good as Die Hard 1.

The Cabin in the Woods. I loved it. It's not for everyone. If you're expecting a by the numbers horror flick, avoid it. If you like satire, and self aware films that deconstruct their genre, go for it. I've seen a lot of negativity surrounding this movie from people who seemed to want far less than it actually offers. It's also got some great dialog, which I'm certain is a credit to Joss Whedon. You know a movie is in trouble though when critics seem to like it more than the masses.

also saw parts of "Paranormal activity," as someone who likes science and logic, I found it to be utterly stupid and laughable. The only redeeming part of the movie was the woman's natural gigantic titties.
