2011-07-12 21:07:54 Radeon HD4890 5.1 Audio via HDMI (Windows 7) Ive just installed this card but cannot seem to get anything better than Stereo to appear as an audio option in Windows 7, I have all the latest drivers but cant seem to get it to work. |

2011-07-15 17:50:23 Yea, I don't have any direct input, but that makes sense. The HDMI output is expecting your receiver to do the 5.1 decoding. |

2011-07-15 20:28:27 I have both a digital connection and an analog connection hooked up at the moment, so I can switch back and forth as necessary. |
