It's either because as I get older my standards get higher, or as I get older the games get worse. Probably a combination.

I think Diablo will be good, I admit that. Me not having a lot of time for it doesn't matter.
I mentioned Bioshock as well.

Everything else doesn't interest me. Sequels, rehashes, QTEs, fps shooters.
Boring.

I was on my phone. Thing made it look like MTYF said it, and I got mad that he got a Diablo 3 invite and was saying he might not get the real game. I boulet like that.

Well it was sorta silly anyway. How much time do you need to dedicate to Diablo to enjoy it? All of it? It's not like you can't just restrain yourself.

Between Diablo, Bioshock, and Guild Wars.. there's enough right there for me to be satisfied. I only need a few real BIG games in one year. The rest is always filler anyway. Halo 4 might even be a thing. Who knows.

And of course big franchises are what will rise to the forefront. I am positive the indie scene will continue to kick all sorts of ass too.

I almost forgot about that one. Approaching with cation (I hate Far Cry 2), but I'm definitely interested. I'm terribly interested in what Valve and Respawn are really up to, too.. but I doubt either will push out anything unannounced in 2012.

yep, 2012 is going to be a very good year for sequels. Very very good.

Probably should look into a new video card soon, just to make sure everything goes smoothly.

Who's fylis? I did not like how a) the Spartan program is painted as the biggest imaginable crime, b) child abduction is mentioned every 5 pages and judged by negatively by all the characters and the narrator and all the blame is put on Halsey, completely ignoring those who greenlit and finansed the project, c) AI portrayal Karen Traviss seems to be so fond of (it's mentioned in the preface and she boasted about it on PAX) is not interesting at all and Eric Nylund made a much better job in First Strike. These would be normally minor complaints if they weren't such big parts of the book. Obviously Karen Traviss is just a contract author who writes expanded universe fiction wherever she can (Star Wars, Gears of War, now Halo) and just chooses threads interesting for her and expands upon them, but 343i should know better than that.

Of course, story is a minor part of the games, actually recently Halo games are excellent despite the narrative, but without Bungie it's hard to expect anything in either direction.

fyllis aka the translator the elites cant pronounce his name correct.. he was great

as for the author, i care very little about her as long as the book did its job for me which it did

and child abductions and testing on them is a bad thing you know.. especially as they say " it was before the covenant surfaced" not like they can use it as a excuse, haylsey is mostly to blame yes, she done most the things behind ONI back (like abducting kids and replacing them with clones that DO NOT WORK)
