After voting, our impartial jury finally managed to agree on the five winners of our Outland contest. In partnership with Ubisoft, we proposed to you to win five XBLA codes by showing the artist in you.

This generation of consoles has allowed a good amount of improvements in terms of game experience, but it also witnessed the emergence of downloadable games sold at more competitive prices than AAA titles. From mediocre remakes to more original and more appealing creations, we have come a long way. Ubisoft has released a new trailer of Outland dealing with its co-op mode. The platform game from Housemarque will be available to download on April 27 for $9.99 / 800 MSP.

Arcade platform game from Ubisoft Outland shows itsfelf with 13 new screens. The downloadable title is expected to release in late April/early May.

Announced just two weeks ago, Outland is back already with a new batch of images and more importantly a trailer, and it looks really really nice.

These days, the number of excellent games being released on Xbox Live Arcade and Playstation Network has grown tremendously, some titles sometimes even stealing the thunder of games sold at full price in the shops. Outland, published by Ubisoft, should once again prove that both XBLA and PSN are the two places to go to find some originality in video games. We are even more looking forward to this mix between Prince of Persia and Ikaruga that the team behind it was responsible for Super Stardust HD. Promising to say the least.
