Otogi 2

RAZurrection sent me this very interesting video showing some non officially compatible Xbox games running on Xbox 360, with more or less bugs. His method was simple, simply trying the OXM demo discs who all launch directly. Looking at this, I'd say the compatibility list could be much larger very quickly.

Sega put online this new Otogi 2 trailer, presenting all the playable characters and a lot of their powers. A must see if you are still wondering about this very good action game.

The excellent Otogi 2 developed by From Software seems to be on track for an October release in the US, so Sega finally started to hype the game a bit with these images. Hopefully it will sell well and we'll get a sequel on Xbox 2 :)

I've been asked to put online this video of the english version of Otogi 2 I did last week at the Japan Expo in Paris. I tried to show as much english text as possible, but be aware the player I filmed was really bad so don't expect anything impressive :)

3rd and last Xbox trailer for Sega, here is an english video (without Dore's song) of Otogi 2.

Sega announced today that they will distribute Otogi 2 in the United States, and that the game will be presented at their E3 booth. First screen (yes one) of the US version inside.

While capturing a new video of Otogi 2 earlier this afternoon I have decided to use it as a test for the Xvid format I always wanted to use here instead of WMV. Using that new format makes me win quite a lot of time for each video I encode and allows me to use some other very powerful deinterlacing filters I could not use otherwise. So if possible I'd like you to download both versions of the video and post your comments here. If you do not have the bandwidth to do so, then at least download it once because it's a very impressive video !

After a lot of technical problems (thanks MS) here are the first 10 minutes of Otogi 2, a game that any fan of japanese atmosphere and/or mindless beatings should enjoy !
Update : Just added the videos of both levels 2&3 and of the attract mode (SHQ). The game may be even better than I first thought :)
Update 2 : Added a video of an incredible fight with more than 50 ennemies ! Wow !
