After this im hoping we see a new rally IP from Codies as i feel Dirt has ran it's course now.
edit: Yeah a new Toca would be sublime
doesnt seem like there is too much lifespan there
hmm is this a retail game? better not be

This is what the Dirt series should have been from the outset, instead of them making some kind of bastardised rallying experience. The devs really aren't quiet sure what a pure European rallying sim is supposed to be, apparently.
As much as I would love a pure rally sim game (or a tactical shooter for that matter), I don't see any dev taking a chance on one nowadays. I think Dirt3 actually had a pretty good balance of events. More rally than the previous in the series, but there were some other decent events to mix things up. Sometimes I just want another vehicle to compete against...
colin Mcrae would be turning in his grave if he knew what codemasters had done with the game he inspired them to make, to me this has become more and more like the need for speed franchise than an out right rally sim, it shouldnt even be called dirt it doesnt deserve that title anymore, what about calling it flatout, oh my bad thats already been done (running out of ideas much).
