Deep Silver has just unveiled the virile tracklist from Nail'd, its upcoming arcade racing game developed by Techland. Especially created for the occasion by major artists from the Metal scene, the soundtrack perfectly suits the game style, as confirmed in this trailer. More info in the press release.

All-star Metal supergroup composes music for the off-road arcade racing game from Deep Silver
"nail'd", the blisteringly fast off-road racing game from Deep Silver, has inspired members of several Metal bands to compose an entire soundtrack especially for the game.
With its absolutely insane track design featuring unexpected turns, deep chasms and high velocity jumps at breakneck speeds, "nail'd" send players' adrenalin levels through the roof. This is the intense feeling that the musicians wanted to express in their uncompromising, high energy tracks.
Illustrious names from the contemporary Metal scene, including Raymond Herrera and Christian Olde Wolbers (Fear Factory, Arkaea), Pat Lachman (Damageplan), Wayne Static (Static X), Jamey Jasta (Hatebreed), Stephen Carpenter (Deftones), Jed Simon (Strapping Young Lad), and John Boecklin (DevilDriver), have got together in the studio to add a wicked soundtrack to the game.
Together, these musicians have created a rock-hard Metal soundtrack for "nail'd". Besides various instrumentals, it includes three dedicated "nail'd" songs: "Count for Something", "Through Walls of Flame" (sung by Jamey Jasta), and "Decimator" (vocals by Wayne Static). All lyrics were specially written for the game.
In addition, licensed tracks from Slipknot, Queens of the Stone Age, Backyard Babies, Rise Against, American Sixgun, Aggressive Chill, and Slaves on Dope help turn on the heat in "nail'd" even more.
"nail'd" is being developed by Techland and will appear on the PlayStation®3 Computer Entertainment System, the Xbox 360® video game and entertainment system from Microsoft®, and PC. The world-wide launch of "nail'd" is planned for the 4th quarter of 2010.
Most american bands listed there got no idea about metal but still this is really nice rock ost, hopefully I'll try it on a new amp which is on my wishlist for 4th quarter xD Thumbs up.
I just really can't stand "vocals" that consist of screaming/ belching/ grunting as opposed to actual singing...painful to anyone with any real musicality.
Game itself looks OK but that shitty soundtrack will be instamuted.

I consider this a useful warning to avoid this game at all costs. Metal music makes my head hurt.
