love this duo, demo was great
Damn.
I was able to stand behind a wall and shoot a guy through the corner of the wall just cause I had the reticule on him. The bullets glitched right through a thick wall and my gun could pass through it too. That might mean people shooting at you that are behind walls completely. could be a problem for multiplayer
Played on PSN.
Loved the idea of the online mode. Unfortunatly the connection was pure shit in 5 different games. Human enemies lag, NPCs lag and disappear just to pop out of nowhere in your face.

'youtube'-filter
but you also have a very good looking game underneath that filter, while the consoles don't.
I have played all three versions they are all pretty much identical except for a slight increase in texture quality in the pc version.

A slight increase in texture quality? If you want to know how the console-demo looks like while playing the PC-version: disable the setting 'sharpen' in the pc-demo. That's how the console version looks like. If you call that a slight increase in texture quality, then I ask myself what a large increase is for you.
What you see is inspired on youtube movies (do some research).

At the end of the day the influence came from the vids themselves.
does the pc version have AA? If the game was smoother that would help quite a bit.
The effects are all based on cell phone cameras and hand held cams. you can see home made vids on youtube but youtube is not known for these effects specifically, because yt does not cause them.

About AA: Yes the game has AA and AF settings in the video-options.
But the most important setting is the 'sharpen' setting. That makes it look really sharp.
If you have the horsepower in your pc rig to play it all maxed out at 1080p or above, you'll see a very fine looking game.
Ofcourse the filters are based on the cell phone camera's and handhelds (at least the shaky ones). But the reason they did this, is because they were inspired by youtube (and others). They want to create the illusion that this could as well be youtube content (uncensored ofcourse ;o)).

Unfortunately Id probably need to run it with low AA and at 1360x768. By sharpen do you just mean the texture detail?
Texture detail itself would most likely be kept an option on its own.
I should probably try this thing out so I know what I'm talking about.
iam getting a stable 40fps (but iam waiting for a crossfire patch).

Well, I have 2 HD5870 cards in crossfireX and was getting around 45 fps. I first thought: another bad port. But for now just disable crossfireX and your framerate will go way up, trust me.
