Yup, PS3, didn't say it was exclusive though, so there still may be a suprise at the MS conference, but i'm not gonna count on it.

Yea i was just about to say that they NEVER said exclusive once. It would actually be an even bigger surprise for a 360 version to not be announced at all until Microsoft's conference as that would make the impact that much more shocking. I mean everyone expects a new final fantasy for the ps3, nobody expects one on the 360.

Only time will tell tomorrow can't come fast enough today will be sony's day.

They also didn't show thier shooter game(Sylph I think it was, or something) either, probably saving that for the MS conference.

A TON of news in that link. A lot of titles: Dragon Quest is a Wii launch title. ANd yes, FFXIII is coming to the PS3.

FINAL FANTASY XIII. FINAL FANTASY XIII. They pulled a serious bait-and-switch on us. Sword-and-gun-wielding heroine who looks like Yuna, flipping her way around a high-tech, futuristic world. No idea what it was until the end when that NAME popped up. Yoshinori Kitase directing! This is the guy behind all the best ones--VI, VIII, VIII, X. Be still my heart.

2:08 Sorry, I jumped the gun--Mr. Kitase was merely presenting. Motomu Toriyama will direct the game. And apparently FFXIII isn't the only game coming out of this universe--there's a, uh, mobile game too. Oh. It's Final Fantasy Agito XIII.

Now it's Fabula Nova Crystallis--"the new tale of the crystal" in Latin. They're big on the Latin today. Whoa, wait, another new game? Another PS3 game?! Final Fantasy Versus XIII? They're emphasizing that in Latin, versus means "to change direction." This is a Tetsuya Nomura game, and he's taking the stage now.

They didn't show the tri-ace rpg for the 360 either which is a developer within square enix last I checked being published by Microsoft.

They didn't show the tri-ace rpg either which is a developer within square enix last I checked.
Nope they get contracted by SE to develop games.

Right you are what I found interesting was I looked at the old e3 2005 highlights and the guy from square enix said they now have a partnership with microsoft. That could mean many things, but it sounds interesting.

Technically it could mean 2 things ;)

1. Keep ya eyes peeled for MS's conference...

2. There was absolutely nothing to say about the 360...

The 360 is projected to sell well and whatnot, but is doing horrible in Japan. Toss up between the two.

This has gotten me even more excited about MS's conference tomorrow, its also the last one of the 3, I'm really hoping for some BIG suprises and if they anounce FFXIII I will probably fall out of my chair in disbelief.

Final Fantasy XIII being developed by final fantasy X team and Final Fantasy versus XIII which is a straight up action game being developed by the kingdom hearts II team.

Both MONSTER titles and if atleast 1 isn't seeing the 360 i'm definetly buying a ps3.

I'm having alot of fun with kingdom hearts II on the ps2.

Does anyone know what this "white engine" is supposed to be is that the Final Fantasy 10 engine ?.

FF10 hadd some of the best facial expressions i have seen in a game.
