What the hell? What I also found interesting is they took stuff from gran turismo 4 and used in that gran turismo 5 demo. Cars, the crowd etc.

That was not GT5, it was GTHD, the guy from Polyphony said all they did was take all the assets from GT4 and port them to PS3 and got it to run at 1080p, but it was still missing some things, like the dirt flying up from behind the cars in the Grand Canyon track. It was really just a benchmark of things that they need to surpass with GT5. Which should be quite easy, unless they try making it in 1080p, but thats a different story.
