Leaps over CoD2:

CoD3 campaign takes place during the real campaign called Normandy Breakout. This is after D-day when the troops are moving inland to move the Germans back and liberate Paris.
1. Load times are bring erased between levels.
2. Play as Americans, British, Polish Resistance, and the Canadian army (giggles and food should love that).
3. Example: When you are fighting with the British you will fight along side the French resistance.
Multiplayer
1. 24 online
2. Single or Splitscreen (here are your guest).
3. Players choose their class ranging from medic to sniper.
1. Each ability as you earn points in rank.
2. Ex. A scout at first can only call in a couple artillery barages. As they gain ability they will be able to call in a broken arrow (I added that for you Vietnam and "When we Were Soldiers" guys)
4. Online leaderboards track stats and rankings by specialty.
5. New Multiplayer mode called War.
1. Axis and Allied teams battling for strategic locations.
6. And of course vehicles.

I had expected more of this game, especially when it comes down to character animations, they still look as awkward as the previous COD.

Game is looking far better than I expected personally--but that's because of the developer--I had pretty low expectations going in.
Still can't wait to see what Infinity Ward has up their sleaves next..I hope they announce something soon.
A very good example is Splinter Cell, which used to be the top of the notch when it came down to graphics and character animations.
Sure, it looks impressive graphically, but those animations, *urgh*!
Haven't changed a bit...

New gameplay footage the explosions are really nice some of the best explosions I've seen in any game they don't just disappear right away they have that lasting effect as real explosions should. (I'm talking about how the dust kicks up its really nice)
Sadly Gears of War (due to unreal engine) has those extremely fast and fake explosions that I hate, but I'll deal with it I guess.

IGN seems to have loved what they saw of single player and multiplayer.
Don't assume this will suck just because it's being made by treyarch.

Look good for the wii. The smoke look as good as the 360 smoke
