That portal gun is as near to CGI pre rendered i've ever seen. Looks great and really challanging. Demo please...

Yeah, the Source engine still looks awesome.. And it looks like they upped it another bit again (like you would expect with Episode 2 and it's added games TF2 and Portal) for this trailer.. I think they added 'motion blurr' and 'depth of field' this time..

Portal looks great, very innovative gameplay with the use of the great Source physics-engine, and now added player-controlled interactive portals.. Could be a potential very hard puzzlegame for some..

Ohw, and Valve doesn't do pre-release demo's (at least as far as I can remember they have never released one), so I wouldn't get my hopes up.. But maybe if you pre-order Episode 2 on Steam they'll release Portal (and maybe TF2) earlier.. I doubt it though, because EA won't be happy with Valve releasing stuff on Steam earlier then EA can do in retail..

Looks awesome..very creative use of "portals"--I know it's not the same sort of implementation, but in a way it makes Prey look a little dated, me thinks.
