28.07.06 - The role playing game The Elder Scrolls IV: Oblivion of Bethesda is already available in the USA and Europe, a release in Japan is,so far,however not yet planned. Therefore Japanese Xbox 360 fans started a Petition, in which they want to Microsoft and/or Bethesda to bring The Elder Scrolls IV:Oblivion in a completely localized version to Japan.

Honestly, I doubt even a heavy hitter like Oblivion could make a dent in that market.
Anyway Blue Dragon is what will sell well for the 360 in Japan not sure how many it will sell though of course, but it should hit 600,000 by december 2007. To be honest if it was a ps3 title it would have been guaranteed to sell 2 million copies within its first week.

they should start buying more consoles then they might get more localised games
Would have figured a big game like Oblivion would have been sold everywhere a 360 is available.
3rd person Action Adventure games PLease Microsoft, that's where you weakness lies.
We don't get localized Dutch versions, and the funny thing is, we don't even want to have that.. Now if the Germans, French and Italians etc would do the same we wouldn't have these stupid disadvantages in Europe concerning releasedates and prices of games etc..

Games sure are fun.
I don't even think that's what's keeping the japanese from playing western releases, the fact that most of them don't run on their 360 does. Also, some people wouldn't know how to import a game even if they wanted to.

Take one 360, add some chopped PS3, stir in some Wii, a sprinkling of DS Lite. Enjoy :)
Fanboy=Ban boy.
Now that I retired I can play more MGS games.
It's not such a bad thing to learn another language (English isn't the only language out there ya know) and many Japanese people are taught English as a second language at school. (Australia is only a hop skip and a jump away)
Roxwell is that really how you say blue dragon in japanese?

Ryuu is the real word for Dragon in Japanese.
Although being a western name "Aoi Doragon 青 <Kanji - Ao> い <Hiragana - I> ドラゴン <Katakana - doragon>" is probably the correct way of saying it. (well there's your first lesson)
To read Japanese you have to learn 46 Hiragana 46 Katakana (each with another 60 variations) and there are over 2500 Kanji some with up to 10 different meaning/sounds per symbol.
