While you'll still going to have to wait a bit for our Crimson Desert video, we’re continuing our coverage of the PSSR update with ten more titles. As with the previous video on the matter, a chapter list is available for those who want the details, of course. Our work isn’t done yet, as we still have a few more games to show you, but the next video on the subject won’t be coming out today, as you might expect.

As expected, the new PSSR arrived this week and significantly improves the visuals on a number of games, including those that haven’t been updated—since, much like the Boost feature for PS4 titles, you can force its use by enabling an option in the console’s video settings. As a result, we’re bringing you a comprehensive video showcasing no fewer than twelve different games, with more to come in the coming days if we can find the time to cover them more thoroughly.

The highly time-consuming Pokémon Pokopia is now available on Nintendo Switch 2, and here are the first 40 minutes of gameplay in 4K video. For once, there are no trainer battles, as you’ll have to shape the world to your liking while controlling a Ditto, all while using the powers you’ll learn along the way.

Having had the chance to try out a preview version of Pragmata for two hours about three weeks ago, we’ve compiled our impressions of Capcom’s upcoming game into a fairly concise video. We hope you’ll take the time to check it out, even though the footage you’ll see was provided by the publisher and we couldn't record an English version. Hopefully, the automated English subtitles will allow you to follow what we're saying about the game.

For once, an early access title isn’t leaning toward the usual genres (rogue-likes or survival games), since *Fallen Tear: The Ascension* is a Metroidvania that will already offer fifteen to twenty hours of gameplay upon release. Admittedly, it’s entering a fairly crowded market at this stage, but it could very well stand out for fans if it manages to use its early access to win them over. Initially quite enchanted by the start of the adventure, we eventually encountered an unnecessarily tricky section—not because of its combat, but due to a platforming sequence that feels poorly calibrated given the merciless timing required. Basically, the goal is to activate floor switches to open "hatches" and climb across multiple levels while sharp spikes shoot out of the walls at lightning speed—knowing that the slightest contact with them means a return to the last checkpoint (fortunately, at the start of the sequence). Either we missed something, or the difficulty level is horribly off. In the end, since we can’t backtrack, we ended up throwing in the towel for now. It’s a shame because the combat feels great, and the visuals and the soundtrack are also excellent.

If you're a fan of 90s arcade racing games, 4PGP is a worthy successor. Available on Nintendo Switch 1 and 2, 3GOO's game is sure to strike a nostalgic chord if, like us, you spent hours trying to beat the best times in Virtua Racing or Daytona USA.
