GSY Video PS5 Xbox Series X PC

After our Braking Point coverage on Saturday, it's time to take a closer look at the F1 25 experience. Check out the gameplay video of the game we recorded on Xbox Series X, this time showcasing the five tracks freshly laser-scanned using LIDAR technology and one of the three reversed tracks. If we manage to get a PS5 or PC code, we'll be back with more footage, but for the time being, it'll be all.

A few days ago, S.T.A.L.K.E.R.: Legends of the Zone Trilogy was finally released on PC, PlayStation 5 and Xbox Series X|S in an Enhanced version featuring four distinct graphics modes. On PS5 and Series X, you'll find the classic Quality and Performance modes, which run at 30 and 60 fps respectively, in resolutions that oscillate between 4K for the former and 1755p (at best, this can drop to around 1350p) for the latter. Note that the image displayed on PS5 Pro, which is the version you'll see in our long video, logically offers better image quality, with a resolution that varies between 1800p and 4K in Performance mode. You also have two other choices, with a Balanced mode (40 fps and resolution fluctuating between 2016p and 4K on PS5 and Series X, 4K for the Pro) and an Ultra Performance mode (120 fps, between 1170p and 1440p for standard consoles and 1440p on Pro). The Series S logically loses the Ultra Performance mode, but the other three are still present. Of course, image quality is affected compared to other machines (Quality mode is 30 fps / 1440p, Performance mode is 60 fps / 864p-1080p and Balanced is 40 fps 1188p-1440p).

As part of our video preview coverage of F1 25, we've been authorized to share with you some excerpts from the first two chapters of the new season of Braking Point. After a quick recap of past events, we meet up with the now-familiar characters for a new championship but don't worry if you're afraid of spoilers, we're only revealing the very beginning of the adventure, giving you the chance to discover a few cutscenes and three circuits only. From what we've been able to see, the premise is rather engaging, but remains in line with the two previous seasons of this story-driven mode. It's sometimes possible to select your driver at the start of the chapter (this is the case for the first one, with the choice between Aiden Jackson and Callie Mayer), we're also entitled to post-race interview sessions (which increase your reputation with the press for example), but also to a bit of management thanks to passages through Casper Akkerman's office. It's nothing revolutionary per se but it's still undeniably effective, so we can't wait to see what happens next, all the more so as the handling and driving model are excellent as ever, with a top-notch sensation of speed.

Originally released for free on itchio, Out of Sight was a very short concept game (allow half an hour for completion) made in six weeks by a team of eight people. Two years later, it has become a fully fledged title, and although it remains rather limited in terms of lifespan (you'll need well under four hours to see it through), it's more than worthy of a new Gamersyde review.

Despite spending fifteen hours on Blades of Fire, we decided it would be unwise to write an actual review, which in any case would not have been representative of the entire Blades of Fire adventure. That said, we couldn't leave you without our impressions of our experience, especially as we were originally far from convinced that we'd really get hooked on MercurySteam's game. And yet...

Eriksholm: The Stolen Dream may be a title you haven't heard much about yet, but it's sure to please fans of old-school infiltration games, very polished worlds and pretty graphics. We had the opportunity to try out a preview version of the game including three chapters, and we invite you to discover our very first impressions in the following video. Note that it was only recorded in French but that automated English subtitles are available (and pretty functional overall).

Deliver at All Costs will come out in two days now and it will even be available for free for a week on Epic game Store. We have recorded one mission while playing the PC version on an RTX 2080 Ti with maxed out settings at 4K. Check out the video inside and try out the Steam demo if you haven't already.

With no less than six games to cover this week, all of them on my own, I'll let you imagine my schedule over the last few days, even more so as we're not just talking about short gaming experiences here. With RoadCraft arriving on consoles and PC tomorrow, it's the game that's going to open this busy week of HQ video coverage. This time though, our impressions will be a bit more condensed than lately, but the silver lining is that you'll have all the more time to take a look at our videos.

With the upcoming release of F1 25 (May 30) and F1 The Movie (June 25) starring Brad Pitt, it's no surprise that the game and the film have come together with a partnership. For players, this will be the opportunity to take on some special challenges inspired by the feature film by Joseph Kosinski (Top Gun: Maverick). Inside you will find a short new trailer of the game showcasing the partnership.

The Precinct was shaping up to be a pretty solid experience, and based on the first few hours of play, we really thought it was going to be a very fun game to recommend. However, our positive first impressions soon wore thin, mainly because of the way the game is built and its lack of variety. If you're looking for a GTA-like kind of game, it is clearly not what this is. There is a storyline but it's not especially interesting and it's only told via static images. To progress into it, you'll spend most of your time patrolling the streets in what seems to be a police simulator kind of game. As there's some degree of unpredictability in the patrols, it is rather fun at the beginning, but the city being very small, it starts to get old after a few hours. The shooting mechanics aren't good in our opinion but thankfully, driving around and chasing criminals behind the wheel is fun, even more so with the possibility to wreck things in the scenery. The excitement can only last so long though and comes a point when starting a new patrol hoping to gather random clues to help the story progress doesn't feel as exciting anymore. Maybe some players won't mind as much as we do, but because of that routine aspect, we eventually stopped playing before arresting all the members of the two gangs we were supposed to catch.

Loakum Ugh….scratch that previous comment. The upcoming Game of Thrones video game is a F’in mobile phone game. Why can’t they came an open world GoT game, like Witcher 3 or God of War? (> 3 Months ago)
