I tried to buy this to play on my 360 recently, but it was sold out at the best buy i checked so i guess i'll just order online. I'm guessing this the type of camera system is what they were trying to achieve with too human?
The day this releases will be a great day for the 360. Well the sequel anyway :)

Anyway, that's not exactly how the camera acts ingame, this is just done that way for the trailer.
It's basicly just a 3rd person game, but you can only change the camera by pulling the right trigger, which will place the camera behind Ryu, otherwise the camera angle will stay where it is.
Ofcourse, at some points the camera will follow you, like when you jump onto a rooftop, or enter a new enviroment or so....
There it is: next-gen!

Hopefully they fix it and it works as advertised. To be honest it wouldn't even need to work 100% like that, but atleast they gotta do something after how much that camera system was talked up.
As it turns out to be completely honest the most non bias preview I've yet to see of too human was the first one that ever came out some german site or something (the one that jumped the gun by putting up the screenshots and the video too soon.
They said it would be a shame for so many years of hard work to go down the drain because of bad gameplay. Everyone else really exaggerated what they really saw most notably 1up. They asked shane from 1up (known for being a die hard sony fan and not being too fond of the xbox) if he liked everything he was seeing and if he thought they should change it they would. He said it was 100% fine (now at E3 we all know that wasn't the case) think he said its okay on purpose full well knowing how bad it looked? Then again they are professionals and should be able to know that much themselves. At any rate hopefully everything pans out. The gameplay has to be a lot more fun than what I saw at E3.
Notem :: I'm not comparing too human to ninja gaiden just went a bit off topic in regards to the camera system sk promised. Yea lebato the earliest we'll likely see ng2 is 2008. October 2008 seems about right.

And I don’t know if a few extra months of polishing will do Too Human any good; IMO the game needs some serious redesign of its entire gameplay/camera system not just polishing…
To be honest we can't say much about the gameplay aspect because while it had a terrible showing I'm also well aware they were just showing us the most basic aspects of combat and not neccessarily the whole package. They have some great ideas I'm sure they just need to work on implementing them better. I remember the quote very clearly and I will be holding sk to it.
"The thing you do the most in the game, in this case fighting, has to be fun"
Well I'm being brutally honest it looked like crap at E3 and I hope they fix it because this was suppose to be the game that finally silences all doubters on whether gaming is an art form. I really hope they deliver on that. I mean they've only delivered good games so we'll see how it all goes.

I have beaten Normal and Hard. But seriously, Very Hard is just stupid, even Hard was stupid. Itagaki doesnt have any lines to draw when it comes to difficault settings seriously.
After I beated Hard mode I got a freaking awesome new suit that looks like a mix between Shinobi suit and Karas suit, its freaking awesome looking one. The head piece has changed to a Karas looking form, and Ryus scarf has changed the colour to red, and he has long sleeves now, its amazing, I wish Team Ninja could add the suit for DOA4, its a beautiful suit.
But the only thing that bothers me is how Ryu is. For example in the CGI he looks like this human "God". For example he can run fast as hell in the CGI sequence when Alma is about to be awakned by Dokus spirit. But in the game hes quite slow compared to the CGI one.
He disapears like a wind trails after you beat Murai in the end, and in the game Ryu cant do that either.
What I am trying to say is that Ryu can do much more than we have seen him in gameplay than in CGI clips, and I hope Itagaki can take advantage of that and put those in the gameplay as he does it in the CGI.
Things Ryu can do in CGI that he cant do in gameplay:
*Cut a round circle around him on the ground and make the ground beneath him rise while he is on it (Dark Ryu mode, when Ryu meets the big angelic statue)
*Run fast with short steps (NG CGI - Almas Awakning)
*Dissapear as wind trails (NG CGI - Last scene when Ryu is about to say good bye to Rachel)
*Shoot out BLUE fireballs (DOA 4 CGI)
*Grappling hook (DOA 4 CGI)
*Fast acrobatics, such as backflips, twist fast in the air to avoid bullets, rocket launchers...etc. (NG and DOA 4)
*Teleport (DOA 4 gameplay)
All thse things are awesome. The only thing that you can do is teleport and backflips in DOA 4 that is actual gameplay but thats not in NG.
I hope Itagaki doesnt seperate abilities from CGI and gameplay, because it feels like you are getting a very downgraded Ryu and that sucks.
