EDIT:

All missions are set up with in-game cinematics, and at least one objective falls out of that. Sometimes you can have multiple objectives from the get-go; other times events will transpire during the mission that change your objectives or add new ones as Starfleet reacts to the situation. There are also secondary (optional) objectives in certain missions.


does that mean that xertain objectives will pop-up depending on your actions?

Looks great, hope it plays great..there hasn't been good use made of this liscence for quite some time. Between this and the Star Trek MMO, things may be looking up though.

It doesn't look that good, I want it to look like the CGI in star trek .. :(

Space (as in the black stuff) in these screens doesn't look very 3D, it looks more like a background which is pasted on by blue screen technology.. :S

Star Treks best effects were models and minatures--and any CG in the television shows could be EASILY done in real time on current consoles :P Even the majority of the Star Trek films are rather lacking in this area, with the exception of the most recent ones..which were just lacking in other areas.

There are demo movies on youtube from e3 which are very nice. Its action based with 360 degree view.
