FEAR demo is exaclty same as PC, but as my PC is shit I never really played it (except at friends for like 2 mins)... its relly fun IMO. Hectic but fun. I won't get it but it was definitley really fun.

A few framedrops here and there, but mostly it is pretty smooth.

To ME, it looks exactly the same as the PC version. Of course, it doesn't play as well. The amazing AI from the PC version is there, but it seems the difficulty for the demo was really low because at times, the guys would just walk up to you without shooting.

The controls are alright, but I'm sure they could be a bit better. Sometimes it's a pain to kill those guys.

Solid port though. I have the PC version, so I won't be buying this.

I never played the PC verions (aside from five mins with the PC demo.) I'm loving it. Not scary at all like some people say it is, but I guess nothing scares me now after Condemned. I liked the controls. They fit me well. But I was overly impressed with the AI! Those guys ducked and dodged, jumped through glass, crawled under debris when wounded. Really impressive. I'm not sure if I'll buy this one, but I'm definately gonna rent it.

Yeah, this game is about as scary as a yellow tomato, people who find this scary, are definitly not recommended to play Condemned, which one freaky game indeed...!

Yeah, not scary at all. I haven't played Condemed aside from the demo, but I might rent it. For a scary fps, play Alien vs. Predator 2 http://www.gamespot.com/pc/action/aliensversuspred...

You haven't played Condemned? That game is sick, in the good (and bad) sense of the word, definitly worth a rental atleast, but to me it's the 2nd best title on the 360 thus far, right behind Oblivion...

Well, I don't play PC-games, and am not necessarily a scary FPS fan, but thanks for the heads up anyway...:)

Interesting--I'll give it a shot...just to see how good/bad a job Day-1 did. I've played through the game on PC and enjoyed it quite a bit. To compare it to Condemned--It's not as freaky--but more of an action game.

Condemned is awesome..but FEAR does rule so I'll let it slide :P

Not a bad demo (same as the PC demo, as far as gameplay goes)--Graphics are a mixed bag--I think it looks pretty solid for a port of an aging game though.

I've already played the hell out of FEAR, but if you've missed this one I think it's certainly going to be worth a rental at the very least--I guess a purchase if it takes off on XBL--though multiplayer isn't really the games strongest point, imo..it can still be fun.

The demo runs smooth enough, not 60fps but a solid 30+, the majority of the textures are from PC’s “high detail” mode with some from “medium detail”, and the lighting is a bit different, probably because of the inclusion of HDR. I’m not sure if it improves the game though… And Phaethon is right; the difficulty in the demo is toned down. But I’m sure the finished game will let you choose the difficulty, like the PC version.

Anyway, it looks like a solid purchase for anyone that likes this kind of games, and missed this on PC.

Oh yea it's probably worth noting that the game is mostly fun on its hardest difficulty--and it's not particularly hard anyway. Despite spicing up the AI, they give you plenty of health packs along the way (and you can carry quite a few)..so, if you want the best out FEAR experience possible--play it on very hard.
