I think the 7 leagues thing is understandable since they pretty much rebuit the entire thing from scratch and given next gen graphical standards. With each new iteration of the series the roster will become more full.

The paying for cheat codes thing is bullshit though. I refuse to pay for such blatant crap.

EA finding new ways to grab peoples money huh? They can kiss my arse if they think people will buy this BS.

It wouldnt surprise me if they sent FBI agents to your house and took the money from your wallet.

fifa 07 is actually good I don't think its bs. They built the thing from scratch and its a great start.

They do this every generation on every platform..for all of their sports games..big deal! Do you know that since the series was started in 1988--John Madden Football has gone through 20 different sequels--and if you count multi-platform releases, more than 80 (!) releases? You don't think that we're playing on the same Apple // engine they built in the 80's, do you? Built from the ground up should be a given. I wouldn't be suprised if they never included more than 7 leagues and trusted in the ability to sell additional content through the marketplace.

I'm not say'n it's a bad game though, I'm not much into soccer games. It could very well be the best next-gen soccer title around (atleast at the moment)--but the very definition of next gen? Gears of War has got that covered.
