Lui ... (il y a 4 Jours)

Inscrit depuis 7349 JoursThe one thing I don't get, is why, why in the world are USB kb+M combos NOT supported by the 360 version of this game? If I can play it on Windows Vista with a mouse and keyboard w/ 360 players (and Vista users get to choose what controller they like best!) yet I can't just plug in a mouse to my 360?
Pretty lame, really. I don't care what you think about controller vs. mouse balance, but if they're supporting it across platforms, I just don't understand why I can't do it on my console. I game at the same desk on the same screen, regardless of what platform I am on..a mouse and keyboard is a viable alternative for me.
Bungie can get away with being platform dependant and they can get away with hating on multiple controllers (I still think the concept that you couldn't balance this on one end is BS) because their software is not designed or developed for PC gamers..but this is totally different.
In order to play this game they way I want to, I need to upgrade my PC at the very least to Windows Vista. So I'm either stuck not using a mouse, or stuck with a mandatory upgrade--not cool!
Game looks like fun though. It's not the Shadowrun game I was hoping for, but I'm starting to come around.

Unreal Championship 2 on the other hand, almost felt like it was designed to support the adapter (it wasn't, it just worked very well).
I might invest in the PC version of Shadowrun, but it doesn't help that there are more compelling shooters coming to the PC this year that won't require the switch to Windows Vista. Enemy Territory: Quake Wars may make the PC version of Shadowrun a non-issue, for me atleast.
Good luck getting into the beta, I want it too. Not quite as much as I want the Halo 3 beta, but still! I'm also waiting on Tabula Rasa (totally unrelated genre and platform) to start, game looks like fun!
