It's at the bottom :P

I'm surprised this expansion is so big. They said about a quarter of the size of Oblivion, and that the main quest would take about 24 hours to complete it if you didn't branch off and do anything else, just focused on the main quest. Doing all the side quests and goofing off easily triples that time period. Looks like even more 100hr+ Oblivion logs confirmed when this releases.

Saw the preview in the latest OXM, looks awesome.

Blue Dragon is an unimaginative JRPG featuring a myriad of JRPG cliches and very redundant looking characters. To even call this game "original" in any way is an insult to every great JRPG made.......all 4 of 'em......

Picking this game up again for $25 was a great idea.

Looks like I have to cave and buy Oblivion for the 360. I played and beat it on the PC, but yea, that was on someone else's gaming rig. Sadly won't be able to do a repeat for this expansion, and my computer can barely run solitaire.

$25 you say? I can work with that :P

I wonder how much points this will cost. I haven't picked up Knights of the Nine yet, so maybe I'll just get this instead as it seems this expansion adds more to the game.

What worried me right now is how much space is thins expansion going to take since it's giving an additional 30 hours of gameplay. I really hope Microsoft will announce a new bigger hard drive quiote soon.

Oblivion was so much better than Morrowind its not even funny. I couldn't stand Morrowind, it was an unkempt mess of a game, that if you some how got into it and delved around for a few years, you could figure out how to complete missions. The game was too big and too unorganized.

Personal opinion. There are certain aspects of Oblivion that are better, but overall I don't think it really blows Morrowind away or anything. Horseback riding, fast travel, and a better combat system make certain aspects of the game more enjoyable.

On the other hand, there are certain aspects of the game that aren't that great, like NPC leveling, less item variety, etc.

Shivering Isles will help, no doubt. The best way to get the most out of Oblivion is to play the PC version though, the mod community is amazing. Any potential problem that one may have with the game is being addressed by the fans.

Hardly. The two games have more in common than you're giving Morrowind credit for. For the record, you can complete Morrowind in far less time than Oblivion, which is partly responsible for the lack of flying/levitation magic in Oblivion. If you're looking for a well paced quest that's easy to get into and finish, I don't doubt that Oblivion is much better, but for what it's worth Elderscrolls is all about exploration to me. It's the sort of game where the side quests bare just as much weight on the overall experience as the games main story line does.

Morrowind is my favorite game of all time. I can't even describe how superior it is to Oblivion. Oblivion is an ES game for the lazy and impatient.

That's the spirit of the series. The game doesn't hold your hand like Oblivion. Morrowind actually encourages you to explore the world, and rewards you with more than a bunch of leveled loot.

And god bless the PC community of gamers with no lives, commited to making Oblivion a far, far better game than the one Bethesda shipped.

So wanting more depth and content out of a game means I have no life?

And before you get onto the "I have a life" subject, I suggest you lay off the video game forums. It's not helping your case.

I'm just going to assume that Phaethon was joking, so lets not get personal here. You're 100% right, Morrowind owns..but lets keep the argument there rather than tapping into our private lives.

I liked both Morrowind and Oblivion, but I would probably give my nod to Oblivion, just simply due to the fact that I'm a graphic whore. If Morrowind had the same graphics or reverse and Oblivion had the same as Morrowind, I'd probably give the nod to Morrowind. Yup, weird, I know :)
