Whats different about this WWII shooter?

1) you can play as any of the 3 War characters, Commando, sniper or Assassins
2) You can use any weapon including anti tank, anti gun, and all other WWII weapons
3) you can control any vehicle in the game , tanks, jeeps, motorcades, common cars.

Not too bad... depending on how this one ends up looking in action when closer to release I may consider it.

I would hope there are more impressive explosions in the game. I'm shocked this was announced exclusively. Interesting to see all these games get announced we previously knew nothing about. Makes you wonder what other surprises are planned for this year.

texture is more than any other fps currently available on 360 or PC. take a look closely, and plus there is full AF

I didn't mean graphically, I meant in terms of gameplay. Character models do look a little flat as well though.

WW2 games are over done. Re-show history in the same way, but in a different aspect.

The only reason why sci-fi shooters and such are better its because in sci-fi world anything can happen so it is your imagination that creates a good game, if you have a good one of course.

Why would people go from CoD3 to this one?, Same setting, same weapons...etc.

One of the reasons why I like sci-fi more than anything, nobody knows how the future is gonna be, lots of futuristic weapons, armors, vehicles, planets...etc. tons of great visuals.

Ah well I hope ww2 fans gets happy with this one.

Because this is a "new" ww2 game that nobody have experienced before, so they are gonna be the "first ones" to do so.

Atleast make it scary game with ww2 theme, like Resistance or something. Make some twists and add stuff to already created ones.

Best WW2 game was wolfenstien.
Brothers in arms is the only WW2 AAA title at the moment. But yeah wolfenstien will be up there as well.

This game just looks like another MOH or COD.

Textures are okay but it's really not going to win any awards with its graphics, not when it's going up against games like Crysis and UT3. This is for PC too, right?

Lets see some real gameplay screens next, I'm hating how every developer is releasing these uber-prettied-up and posed screenshots. Lets see the goods.

Blue Dragon is an unimaginative JRPG featuring a myriad of JRPG cliches and very redundant looking characters. To even call this game "original" in any way is an insult to every great JRPG made.......all 4 of 'em......

Thats the thing, companies dont want to let it die out.

If they were smart enough just like me, they would go with something like World War 3 with the same concept of war but in future, like the futuristic Battlefield.

Battlefield 2142, Quake Wars, Frontlines:Fuel of War, and GRAW are all near to far future war games, so it's not like no body is doing that.

Take one 360, add some chopped PS3, stir in some Wii, a sprinkling of DS Lite. Enjoy :)

The idea that you can choose different ways to go about the mission sounds cool. I'd love to be able to just snipe my way through an entire game. If done properly, that would be cool. Still only a rent. Looks like resistance.

Graft - Battlefield 2142, Quake Wars are almost considered as sci-fi shooters. GRAW is couple of years in the future with advanced weapons.
