Scandinavian magazine Gamereactor had an exclusive this month, a big preview of Juiced 2.

The magazine is totally free, and you can download it and see for yourself here.

It begins at page 6:
http://gamereactor.se/magcover/se/gamereactor_44.pdf

Some small images:

Of course these are all from the PDF above, hosted on their own site.

They gave the first Juiced a 9/10, and had this to say about this game:
- Release September, on PC, PS2, PS3, X360, PSP
- Developers listened to the complains about the first one being too advanced, so they've "mainstreamed" this one.
- "Looks great, better lighting than in PGR3"
- Has the official Hot Import Nights license
- Choosing competitions works like in PGR3, you have a bunch of options and can play whatever race you want, until you go to the next level
- Dragracing removed, Showdown mode removed. Drift races added.
- 93 licensed cars, 10 000 licensed components to add to your car, from BuddyClub, Wings, Greddy, Rays Wheels, Stilen and Mugen plus more.
- Has Driver DNA, similar to Forza's Drivatar. Remembers how you drive and makes a bot out of it.
- No more fictional city, this time real cities (but not as detailed as PGR3, they say). Rome, London, Paris, San Francisco, Sydney plus another 6. Each track (do they mean city?) has three different routes.
- Awesome physics.

Overall, they're really positive about it, and it looks great. As some people really loved the first one, it'll be interesting to see what happens now with this more mainstreamish version.
I never played the first one myself though, it's supposed to be really great?

Hmn....better lighting than PGR3? I want to see it!

It does look reasonably good though. The first one had awful physics, nothing "advanced" as they say. And so basically they are turning it into a PGR3 kind of game with upgrades? We'll see, the physics and handling make/break any racing game.

This could be real life graphics, this could have the greatest online play ever, this could be the most immersive handling for a racing game ever, BUT if they had a intro like the first one again.all that would mean SHIT! i still have nightmares from that fucking intro :(

ps, i am not saying this will have the best graphics etcetc i was been sarcastic, the last game handled like shyt.

My comments on this game/machine been good or bad does not mean i like/hate the machine i am not a fan nor a hater, just i have a opinion and wish to share it.

I never played the original Juiced, but it seems most race fans that have insist that it has better car physics than NFS:U. I actually hear it handled pretty well. I can't comment on that myself really, having not played it, but I'll definitly rent this one.

Looks good but still not STUNNING. Still waiting for a developer to introduce a racing-blockbuster that has amazing graphics, physics and gameplay. A mix of PGR, NFS, FORZA, CMcrae, JUICED and SEGA RALLY.

Not gonna happen.

I think it says: Juiced 2 looks good but not so astonishing in comparison to PGR3.

Wow. I thought Juiced was a budget title originally. I'm incredibly impressed with those shots. It really does look like PGR3. But I take it this game features car customization. Something that PGR3 really could've used. Doesn't mean the gameplay will be the same, but as long as its not too much of a sim, I'll figure it out.
