Well I am downloading it right now. These kind of games arent my type but because it is a demo I am gonna try it out.

The download is available for silver and gold members so dont worry about it.

I so don't understand this game that it's crap. The only thing I liked was the intro thats it.

I played the old AC games on the PS2, so it wasn't as confusing for me. Still, the missions are too damn short. And I'm not talking about just in the 360 demo, the JPN PS3 version missions are too damn short, and this is the same game, just with some tech tweaks.

Owellz, I'm a mech nut, so I still have to get it, or at least rent. Money been tight lately.

Yeah, this 360 demo runs and looks a lot smoother than the JPN PS3 version. I can' t speak on how the NA PS3 version will compare to the JPN version though, wonder if they will get a demo soon too?

Yup, just like the CH one.

The demo consists of a Tutorial, 2 normal missions, and 1 1v1 mission. I believe they have around 6 or 7 mechs to choose from, I forgot that quick :P

love the music in the 1v1 mission

Sweet..that sounds pretty cool. I was never much into this series (never owned a single AC game) but I'm interested in some next gen mech action that's a little bit more fast paced than CH. I miss Virtua On.

Well since I haven't played those older games much, and love VO (VO:OT just may be the best game ever made) that sounds good to me :P

I just finished downloading it, I'll give it a go soon.

Ok, I downloaded the demo and I don't know what's up with From Software. Are these guys still the same bunch that made Otogi?

AC4 is extremely weak. The graphics are weak, they look nice, but the environments feel so empty and lifeless. Controls are extremely awful, and the sound couldn't get any more boring. If you haven't downloaded the demo, don't do it, don't waste your electricity, controllers, bandwidth, and time.

Lebato is mostly right, although there could still be something here worth playing. All accounts of Chromehounds I've heard from people who have actually played it have suggested that it's actually a pretty fun multiplayer game--but the demo was absolute trash. I did think this demo was a bit..lacking..but I may still give the final game a chance (rental), we'll see.

X360 vs PS3 version :

X360 :
+ twice the frame rate
+ way way less slow down
+ sharper textures
+ less jaggies
+ filters are less jarring

- same so so game

noticably better than the PS3 version technically. The X360 is a beast.

Ok you guys hating on this game aren't approaching it the right way. Just mess around with the controls, they aren't impossible. I honestly haven't had this much fun with a mech game since I first played virtua on in the arcade. This game is crazy fast and even if im not playing that effectively, watching my guy fly all around blasting at another mech is definately entertaining. I just did the 1v1 mission where I guess a team mate shows up to help you out.. I really don't know if I won or not, but it was friggin' awesome.
