The first two images is suppose to be from in-game engine according to LucasArts. I know I read something about that in a magazine. If that is how the in-game engine looks, then grab a chain and choke me to death, it looks outstanding.

This in-game screen demonstrates how The Force Unleashed handles Force Lightning. It's pretty close to the original vision.

He seems to be so freaking powerful with the force, meaning lightning power. Can you guys imagine a next-gen SW game that the boss could play out like God of War style hahaha, would be awesome.

You had me at Star Wars. Still a little concerned about the story, but it's looking great. Hope it's great..still want a new Jedi Knight game too though.

I'm buying it though.

The very concept goes against Star Wars lore, but it will be interesting to see how it is managed. Who cares if they are taking it as seriously as the movies--the last three movies (and I loved Episode 3, mostly because I'm a big fan) weren't really that great. The best Star Wars story I've seen in recent times = KOTOR 1.

I don't know..the IQ looks simular to me. Paintings don't generally have aliasing (usually, though poor scaling can do some weird things to 2D images too).

The last pic is just as believable as the first. I would have argued that they were all artwork if you didn't tell us they were realtime. Visuals like these, euphoria, star wars, what a combo

I dunno. Just look at the ground in the first. You can tell its a 3d space. I dunno though. Its really hard to tell. I want it to look like that its just extremely hard to believe.

Wow that looks great. I hope you can create your own character instead of using a premade one, but after reading the article it seems unlikely.

The last picture doesnt look like a art. And the graphics of what we have seen that is most definitely something that can be done.

I was shocked to know that they were in-game screens when I saw scans of the magazine. But if LucasArts says it is in-game why bother think otherwise.

It looks amazing, and I really love how the air wave shows when he force push the Stormtrooper "through" the wall.

I have already decided to buy this, so I have no complaints. And as Op said, it is good that it is coming around 2008 because games like Dark Sector, MAss Effect, Halo 3...etc and other great title of 2007 we need space.

It has some RPG elements to upgrade your lightsaber and get up in skills and such, but I think it is confirmed that you can't create a character of your own. I would like to, but I do not think that is gonna happen.

Spring 2008.

I don't know about this game. I don't like the art style. It looks like concept art. I think concept art should look like concept art, not like a game (huh?). Not a big Star Wars fan either, I think I outgrew it.
