Because nobody wants to spend money on making PS2 games for a market much smaller than the PS2 I suppose.

It was a concern of mine since the second they announced the PSP, and to be honest I'm pretty surprised that they're putting this much effort into even something carrying the FF7 name. I guess we'll see about its length and value though.

haha sure did

The game does look great, but tbh, it's not the only great looking PSP game. Daxter, Tekken, and Wipeout all look amazing.

Agreed, this game will come more to it's rights on the PS2, who knows maybe they will release a port someday or a downloadable version on PS3.

You could mean the PS2 bit, but that's deliberate.. I mean this here game is essentially a PS2 game budget/assets/effort wise, and it could just aswell have been on PS2 where it'd automatically make tons more money. Nobody wants to spend time and money making a PS2 game for a market smaller than the actual PS2 one.

SE's animation skills are seriously making other devs look bad. Their facial animation especially is second to none in my book.
