Pirates of the Caribbean: At World's End, IGN preview...

I have never had a proper look at this game, but I just had a quick look at the IGN's preview in their weekly episode and I must say: It looks pretty damn good.

Again, I just had a quick look, so I'm not sure what the deal with this game is. But graphically it's definitely not bad, at all..!

the only game after a movie or cartoon i liked was lion king... a LOOOOnnng time ago. but ill try the demo. I tried shrek the 3rd demo and yeah, wasnt too good. so the genre AA material.

Disney actually has a lot of success converting toons into games, or at least they have in the past. Going waaaay back, Ducktails on the NES was awesome :P

Also, movie conversions don't have to suck -- play Chronicles of Riddick, it's better than the movie! And KOTOR is better than the most recent SW trilogy :)

You can't, can you..?! I always stream the "high res" vid (which is still only 640x320) and rip the .flv file.
Streaming the actuall HD vid is not possible as far as I'm aware..?!

Yeah, after watching the preview properly I get the same idea, it seems pretty boring and generic to me. Graphics are impressive though, mainly the lighting..!

Heh, I didn't watch the video at all. Cashing in on a movie franchise rarely yields a good game though.

Yeah, that's why I never bothered looking at this game before, but I downloaded the IGN weekly episode and when I had a quick browse through the vid, I was pleasently surprised by the graphics.

I thought it might be an RPG at first glance, so that made it even more interesting. But it turns out to be an action/adventure, and not all that interesting after all...

yeah, I just assumed if it was Insider material, you couldn't watch it at all.

Weird, it doesn't work for me at all. I can only stream the vid when clicking on the "watch high res" tab. Which is still only 640x360...

Yeah, that's the size I got too. I didn't think I would get anything at all, as it's listed as Insider stuff.
Now I know when it's for Insiders only, I can just stream it.

Like I said, I don't care about 720p so much, but nothing is worse than the usual 320x240 vids they have :(

Yeah, but the one I'm referring to isn't listed as insiders stuff. But it's listed as "Watch it now: Low res/High res".

But they're both the same size vids in this case (640x360), only with the insiders stuff you get the option to download the vid as well (can you download the insiders stuff as well..?).

Anyways, yeah. Those 320x240 vids they have are plain insulting, and since I like to download the vids so I can watch them later, I stream the 640x360 ones and rip the .flv files which is a bit more work, but it's worth it... ;)

Bloody cheap bastards at IGN... :(
