I love the anime so far I've seen up to episode 5 and love what I see so far and I can just imagine how much better it'll get later on.

I hope Blue Dragon 2 has fights against other shadow users, as BD didn't.

Although I'm not sure how they will have a sequel when the main villian has been killed off. (i'm sure they will find some way to bring him back though :P)

Exactly I want combat against other Shadow users now too, but I guess I now understand why they did it. In this first go around your main obstacles should be the many mysteries of the world itself and nene's followers and anything else of major importance you may run into. Adding other shadow users might've added an entirely new layer of complexity to the whole thing that the devs probably didn't feel the game was ready for yet.

I look forward to of course the english version of BD, but of course the sequel as well to see if they bring other shadow users into the mix. That addition would instantly make the series a bit more popular in Japan I think especially if they gave the Shadows a voice this time around so they themselves can also be characters.

It would be cool if they took advantage of shadows and their abilities outside of battle to accomplish certain tasks. Like using a shadow's water attack to put out an ancient fire in a ruin.. something like that.

heh alimo I figured they'd toss in other shadows into the mix at first, but what the hell I'll go in with the assumption that there aren't any other shadow users and from gaf comments I found out the ending is a happy one so I assume the bad guy has been taken care of.

I have not seen it yet but I will once it hits US shores. VIZ Media has secured the license for the BD Anime very early on I don’t think the wait will be long.

I'm not a big anime fan though, but there are quite a few anime-series and movies that I have greatly enjoyed and I hope Blue Dragon is going to be one of them as well.

I know that they changed some of the Japanese VAs for the anime-series, hope this won’t be the case in the English version though. They should take same English VAs they have for the game, for the Anime as well. I’m gonna ‘hear’ soon enough I suppose.
