Not me Jolli.. PSP users have been waiting for a game like this for a while. I'm really pleased with Squaresoft. They've sorta given the DS more love so far, but the content they're finally bringing to the PSP is good stuff.

Depends. I might agree with you, but then I might not. It all comes down to the gameplay for me. If it's a very engrossing experience I'd rather have it on PS2, but if it's a slightly arcadey take on the RPG formula (which videos suggest) then I'm glad it's a PSP game.

There's such a fine line between a game feeling like a console game and a handheld game, and unlike some who seem content with having PS2 games on the PSP I'm not like that at all. I'd rather experiences *made* for consoles stay on consoles.

That's why the DS is so fantastic. Provided devs make use of its stylus and unique capabilities it easily makes a game FEEL like a DS game, and you don't feel robbed of the extra immersion a full blown console game gives you. This is also why I've always been much more sceptical towards the PSP.

...while at the same time being open to sex of course.

Wonder why young Yuffie is in this one....

Jolli maybe they will port it to the PS2 at some point...if they smell the money they can make with it...GTA story's were ported either. So you never know.

No doubt its great news for PSP gamers, but not for me, handheld gaming is just not my thing.

What you say is interesting Simon, The PSP is like the Gamegear neither here nor there, it tries to be a console but a handheld at the same time, yet the DS is very much a handheld, probably why it sells so much better than the PSP as did the Gameboy.

doesn't some of the game take place during the Wutai War? That would mean Yuffie is like 9 in this one.

I think the Wutai War is in Before crisis, not sure though. It's bin to long since I played 7..it's bin said in the game I know that.

yeah, I believe this game covers the Wutai War and the Nibelheim incident. Before Crisis starts off around the end of the Wutai War I think. My FF7 knowledge is also a bit fuzzy, been a while.
