Oh man I dunno if you saw the Nintendo conference, but when they showed Mario and Sonic at the Olympics, Reggie was like "a long time rivalry will be settled bla bla bla" and also as it ended he said "it'll have friends fighting over the controllers this fall.

Then he used that as segway and said "another title that will settle this battle" or something to that effect, and I assumed he meant Mario vs Sonic.. and I was like YEEEEEEEEEEEES!! and waited patiently throughout the entire Smash Bros segment, but nothing. Then I realised he must've meant the battle for the controllers. :(

:( :( :(

I still reckon there's hope though!

It's a long time coming.. but does anyone actually doubt it will deliver? I've said it like a million times.. if there is any game that can make me buy a Wii it's Smash Bros. If there's online play.. I just won't be able to resist.

It has been announced @ pre-E3 2005. But what is really tough to swallow is the 7 years gap between Brawl and Melee.

yeah i got melee a long time ago and i heard about a new smash brothers coming out and that was a long time ago i dont even have a gamecube anymore nintendo what was yall doing
