Needs to see the game in motion because those screens are not what you call eye candy. Soul Calibur is the best looking fighter as of now.

I'm sure it will look decent.. but VF5 looks better. So maybe people will leave it alone now? :)

Also, SC isn't perfect either.

Well i know some of the screens that got released as high-res have been optmized into low ones, so obviously you will get jaggies.

And by the look of it, these are high-res images that have been resized into small ones.

Yeah, but like I said, these looks like high-res images that have shrinked into small images. And I have for sure seen high.res images resized into small and it most definitely looks to be in this case.

I think we should wait for good 720 images of the latest built :D

I remember when big 3d fighting games were graphical showcases for the console they were on, now they're just laughable.

They were the easiest games to make look good when consoles didn't have enough power to do other things on a larger scale.

So much for gameplay over graphics :P

I think it's a matter of controlling resources now.. I personally don't think they're laughable, although I won't defend Tekken 6's poor showing either. I think that VF5 looks good for a Lindbergh port of a relatively old game now--and I think that SC4 looks reasonable, although I wouldn't yet call it impressive.

But yeah.. the market for these games is unfortunately shrinking.. and with it, I imagine their budgets are too.

Yeah. I'm not even a big Tekken fan, and I think the character models themselves look pretty good. The environments are passable. But the aliasing is seriously hurting the visuals overall, they should really fix that.


also, I don't think this has been posted. Shows some more of the characters, and a few move lists for each. Kind of pointless though, unless you read Japanese :)
