Well I guess I'm late then :D

I think the PS3 owners have a well deserved winner on their hands... looks like a lot of fun. 'bout time PS3 got a good game, been kind of a drought for a little while there hasn't it? 2008 will be much kinder to PS3 owners, I have no doubt.

who would have thought that the lowest score from the game would come from PSM :p

I kid, I kid. I'm going to try to see if I can try it out this weekend. One of my friends picked it up already, and has yet to shut up about it.

Been playing this for the better part of the day and it's awesome fun, I can see me playing for quite a while. Got the blue camo paint job for my warhawk after my first rank up.

The variety is alot better than most online MP games. It's not got alot of depth compared to some PC shooters, but that makes sense on a console.

Okay i played it in hours now, since I think 12 or so, until now.

My impression is...its very addictive.
I just couldnt stop playing.

Heres the thing, one you are in the airplanes, my freaking wrists hurt as hell with all the dodging, shooting, holding the gas using turbo...etc. really crazy.
The battles are amazing intense, meanig if you are in the air in the dogfights your buddy is on the ground doing some dirty job as well.

I can say this that no matter if you are in the air or on the ground you are still in heavy battles.
I didnt even plan on getting this game at all, I didn't even payed attention but I did check out some videos and all now and then to see the fuzz, and I can say its great.

Once you are in the air for some reaosn it reminds me of Sky Captain and the World of Tomorrow, don't know why, but it just does. Maybe its the whole Neo Noir and sci-fi mixed together, while this is like WW2 mixed with sci-fi, very cool.

It is very well balanced as well. Meaning just because you are in the air it doesnt mean the guys in the ground cant take you out. There are this 2 big ass home missles that will track you all the way and it is impossible to dodge them, the only thing to do is if you have like "sparkles" that when you activate it, the missles will lose their target, very effective.

And then you get to unlock stuff.
Like you play on ranked games and you get points and rank up, and the more you rank up and such you unlock new outfits, and you can totally customize them, so they arent in "sets".

I for one have 413 points, and I need 500 to go up in rank, but so far I havent unlocked anything.
So you can unlock both clothes and color and patterns for the Warhawk.

But yeah, the game is really great.

One thing I want to mention though is the controls.

The motion sensor is a option for air and ground so dont worry about it.

However the controls might feel clunky at times, but once you get the hang of it, there wont be any problems, but don't expect they will not kill you, they will actually rape you, especially in the air.

the dogfights, well I thought I was very good in Ace Combat, but boy I was wrong :P

I guess I am gonna train much more to become one with the sky :P

Anyway, I would say 8/10 as well.
