The main character looks cool, love his suit.
Gameplay:
In terms of controls, MANY button combinations, but any FPS fan can learn them quickly.
You can manually choose what time control you want, and it has reverse, slow and pause and abort.
Another cool thing you can do is that when you pause the time you can run up and steal the weapon go back, and just watch the hilarious expression they make.
If you dont hit them while they do that, they will most definitely pick the nearest weapon they can find and run to vocer and take you out.
But IF you hit them, they will get low and be afraid and wont do anything and say "dont hurt me".
I did that once, and when they was begging for it, I "paused" the time, took the assault rifle, zoomed on his "personal area" and keept shooting all my bullets, and when the time went to normal again, the dude just flew back as hell, very funny :D
-------------
Graphics:
I had the old TimeShift version on a demo disc and it looked dull and boring, but this new one, OMG it looks great.
The detail, rain, textures, flame, timeshifting.
It just looks great.
-------------
Replay:
I can say that this game has tons of replay value, in both gameplay and gamewise.
For instance you can rewind time if you are satistfied (sp?) with the kill or tactic you did.
You can do alot of cool stuff for sure every time you play, it is all up to you how you want to play it.
--------------
Sound:
The sound is very cool too, the sound of timeshiting, the background music is very awesome (gonna rip the main theme right now actually :P).
There is this female operator that talks to you, but its not human. Its an AI operator with a female voice inside your suit that detects like motions esnor for danger, hints, tacticts...etc. very cool addition to it.
I would rate the demo around 7 out of 10 for sure.
The only thing I didnt like was...sprint!!!
There is no sprint at all damn it. With a suit like this it should give you the option to run a bit faster meaning sprint!
Now will I buy it?
After this demo, I have no idea, I really liked it. Played it arund 5 times already and each time with different tacticts.
Would I buy it...I dont think so...keyword "think", which is maybe.
Playing: WarHawk (Playstation 3)
PS3: Heavenly Sword - Lair - Uncharted - Haze - Dark Sector - Killzone 2 - MGS4 - God of War 3
360: Mass Effect - Assassin's Creed - Ninja Gaiden 2 - DMC4 - Too Human - Fable 2 - Resident Evil 5
I did like the KZ2-esque depth of field effect when you zoom in though.
Mass Effect - Nov 07 - Start the Fight!!!
Bitches!!
I did like the KZ2-esque depth of field effect when you zoom in though.
And yeah I totally forgot that when you zoom in with a weapon that doesnt have a scope, it has depth of field, which I personally loved, and love in next-gen graphics.

I'm not sure there is enough there to set it out from a very crowded time of year for FPS' though. Again, like Blacksite it's a decent game to have gotten out in the late summer I think.
Technically you can sprint as you can stop time, hence you're moving faster than anyone else!
The full game is a decent length mind I'll give them that.
I already have half a mind to skip ETQW entirely.
The new one is just waaay better.
Yeah you can sprint Deft, but you cant actually SPRINT if you know what I mean.
Like Killzone 2, Crysis, MOH Airborne, COD4...etc. were you hold down a button and you see the sprint animation kick in and you run a bit faster than you usually do.
I say that if the character doesnt have much on him/her, they should give us sprint. Because in real life you dont jogg your ass to cover, you run as hell to avoid.
Anyway, I think its pretty good game, something that could maybe if osmeone has interest to pick it up a bit cheaper once played al the anticipated games you have and played them.
I got to say though, doesnt his helmet look like?

not had a chance to play the demo tbh. d/l last night but due to being at work never got the chance to play, will play when i get home tho. it looks like the guys they hired from the FEAR team had quite a large influence on them cos it looks like a FEAR clone almost 100%, only with better visuals.
i've got it down on my rental list, so if it ends up being good i'll probably buy it.
Anyways, it's nothing I'd buy, it gets boring/repetitive really quick. Weapons need a lot of work, they are very boring. I honestly didn't get to even finish the demo. As far as FPS are concerned, I really only feel like playing the best of the best, no "good" game does it in this genre for me.
