wow, this is awesome, its the end of it that made me smile
very emotional though when you see the chief help up by the brute,
then he arms a flash granade, thats class. that was awesome.

theres another differant one that will be online at xbox.com at 6pm (london) aswell.

EDIT. lolol forgot the link, here you go

I doubt it's a scene from the end of the game, if it is based on a scene in the game it would probably be about halfway through

Kick ass site. You can move around the diorama a bit, and take screenshots and save them as wallpapers. The 2nd and 3rd pics I took.

Sorta kinda plot spoiler I guess, weird way to advertise a game with a crucial scene.

It was here where Master Chief Petty Officer Spartan-117 turned the tide in The Battle for New Mombasa. By allowing his own capture the Master Chief set in motion events that have sealed his title as Earth's greatest hero

Gotta admit that the site is one of the best game sites I have seen!

I love the "walkthrough" the battlefield, amazing stuff, feels like som sort of a documentary.

And yeah those screenshot > wallpaper thing is a smart feature :)

I'm wondering how much it cost them to make all the models and the scenery and whether it is just going to be used in an advertising campaign then discarded.

i was thinking that , its more than hype this time around.....they are breaking new ground with the advertising...rather that show flashy gfx, they are toying with the emotions...i applaud the MS , Bungie and the marketing team behind this ad campaign bravo

Now if only the battles in the game had that scale ;)

..and music. We'll just hear the Halo theme remixed about 10 more times before we all die.

I think that ad was pretty awesome personally. Got me ready to go.

The ad did nothing for me. In my game ads, I want either gameplay or comedy. This had neither. I'm not saying it was bad by any means, just that it's not my cup of tea. I also don't really see it persuading anyone to buy the game who hadn't already decided to do so.
