Man, just been playing it for about 2 hrs now, its amazingly fun, much better than pro evo 6, even the graphics are looking nice (finally!).

Animation is much improved, ball feels like its has weight, shots are more powerful and the game is slightly faster, it all flows really smooth. Lots of framerate problems during replays though, I hope its sorted before the release.

Agree pretty much with all that Jin said. Plus Veron is in it again so it's at least twice as good as Pro Evo 6!

If only they could implement a replay feature and upload facility like Halo 3, Skate etc. It's so obvious for a football game to do this it's not even funny.

Well if you look on the replays, it has the X button symbol but with nothing by it, so I should think they've put back in the choice to save replays. So surely they will introduce replay uploads. If not, criminal mistake IMO.

in my opinion this seems lazy altogether...and i'm a big fan of PES...the animations r improved but the overall look of the game is still just lazy..nothing which makes me say WOW!

also the new fifa looks much improved....an amazing addition of the play as 1 player(great idea IMHO)

PES2008 will be bought but konami are taken the piss if u ask me

This is a really early version by the way... the guys at WENGB have played the final build and have said it's MUCH better

I dont think they can release a totally improved PES every year and they don't have to because they gameplay is near perfection (okay not perfection but really solid) and there isn't much room to improve but... the presentation is once again downright awful, the menu's lack creativity and are dull, the atmosphere in and around the pitch looks dead.
With the last PES i could forgive the studio but this time they had more then enough time to touch it up.

I like that you can add yourself to teams using the camera thing... can create your old school team all over again if your mates are still around :D

That's cool, but adding the price of the camera to an already overpriced game won't do it for me. I'm sure this could have been done by using pictures you uploaded somewhere, and then access them through the game......but of course Konami wouldn't do that.
