Now I am not a racing fan at all, but MotorStorm is the only one to convince me to to buy one in the genre.

I just like this fastpaced, chaotic racing type that MotorStorm is offering. (dune buggy FTW)

The first one was in the desert, looked like some sort of a post apocalyptic wasteland racing.

After I read that MotorStorm 2 was coming, I kept hoping they would go for the jungle setting, and my god it is in the jungle, lucky I guess.

I think Motorstorm is rediculously good as it is, and its problems/solutions are so obvious - and obviously rectified with a sequel - that this'll have me spinning on my head everywhere I go. I won't ever walk after this comes out.. just.. headspinning for me from there on.

Motorstorm is one of the better PS3 exclusive properties. As awesome as I think this is going to be I am somewhat surpised to see them use pre-rendere video to promote it considering the backlash from motorstorm's original introduction.

Well perhaps as a result of the controversy surrounding the first CGI vid, people take what's IMPORTANT from this video instead of yelling themselves blue about how it's not gonna look like this.

I mean it does show off the new vistas and cars and gives you a general idea of what the game will be like.

"Somewhat surprised" though I can sign off on too.

i think CGI is cool.

i don't mind CG as long as the real time gameplay is also good (visually). i hate when games have these wonderful CGI sequence but when its time ti play the game , oh boy its like you are playing another game

ES learned that asshats in the media will say idiotic stuff like, "Looks nearly identical" or "indistinguishable" from the CGI. Yeah, not sprite trees there ES...
