All this data is recorded in the player’s notepad, which serves as an information hub for all your investigations. All locations, people, and facts related to a case are stored there, allowing you to access it instantly during an interrogation. The more facts and evidence you gather, the greater your options will be during an interview.
After a conversation with a worker who reported the missing vehicle, Phelps leaves the scene to go to the address found in the wallet, Eugene White’s residence. Elizabeth White meets us at the door. The sequence that follows gives us our first glimpse of how L.A. Noire’s animations, writing, design, and attention to detail combine to form a gripping gameplay experience.
After inviting him in, a clearly concerned Mrs. White shows Phelps to the living room. Phelps informs her that her husband appears to be missing, and that foul play is suspected. In her reaction, we see the real power of Team Bondi’s digital filming process. “I knew something was wrong when he didn’t come home!” she exclaims, furrowing her brow and darting her eyes in panic. It’s real fear we see in her face – a truly human performance by a human actress. Compared to this, even the best game animation seems plastic and stilted.
Multiplatform release next year spring.

Prepare To Drop!!
The next five seconds are some of the most amazing we've ever spent in the company of a video game. We don't react - we just pause, unsure of what to say and unwilling to crush the spirit of the damaged, vulnerable victim in front of us.
Jessica's head stoops slightly, and her pupils begin to - imperceptibly at first - rotate down towards the hospital ward floor. Her shoulders seem to shrug inward by perhaps half an inch, as her eyebrows are drawn instinctively closer in a subtle frown. She obviously feels uncomfortable. Her deceit is clear.
"The doctor told me what happened," Cole says, gently. "We know you're lying Jessica."
"I didn't want that... I wanted to be a star. Juney told me I had to toughen up."
It's a shocking admission, and one which twists the deftly scripted story back on Jessica's relative - and the dirty Hollywood machine she yearns to seduce.
What follows offers revelation after revelation, Noire's sophisticated narrative untangling with confident patience.
Hidden behind our newspaper in a greasy diner, we witness June tell her boyfriend on a public phone that she has "the film"; we see a mermaid statue - the only concrete memory Jessica has from her living horror - in a photo of the props shop owned by Mark Bishop's best friend, Marlon Hopgood. And we hear Bishop's wife utter those chilling words: "My husband likes them young..."

I find myself watching this game and thinking the anaimation is awesome but the graphics are crap, too bad we don't see games with both.
I guess the dev team can only apply so much resources to one aspect of the game though.
Needs selfshadowing badly.
Marumaro for the WIN !!
