Might as well make a thread for me and Korn (jk)

What do you reckon they can do to actually make this better than the last game?

For me at the momment the biggest gripe is the multiplayer of the 2nd game its shot to fuck and they dont listen to there fans on this one
http://forums.naughtydog.com/t5/General-Discussion...
I gave up posting about the MP problems Arne does not give a fuck, specially with comments like "WE think this is the most enjoyable patch to play the game"
Just cause the devs find it fun does not mean the community do, and the community HATE the current set up

And they said they want to compete with the big boys? like halo... seriously, listen to your fanbase, bungie do and because of that they have fans that would die for them.

I want better puzzles, i am sick of these crappy little puzzles in all these adventure games, i want to see actual puzzles... and if there worried people cant do them, make the puzzles easier on easier settings.

I enjoyed the multiplayer for Uncharted 2, much better than Lost Planet 2 considering both is third person shooters.

I didnt rank up enough to check out every perk, but the ones I had was doing its job like extra ammo, steady aim...etc. but I heard some of the more advanced ones were unbalanced, but I can't comment on those.

They should definitely fix their matchmaking so it is faster to find matches.

Interms of single player, I hope they continue what they did with Uncharted 2, and I loved it.

I have been asking for a long time for middle east, desert, egyptian style environment alot considering I love The Mummy 1 movie alot and I always considered Uncharted to be a modern version of that, so I am glad that they went with this direction.
And knowing NDs track record the visuals are going to be amazing as usual, can't wait to see what they can do with this title.

Only thing I am hoping is for a proper orchestral soundtrack, other than Main Theme/Nate 2.0 the music is boring.
They should start making the music more closer to The Mummy, Indiana Jones, Pirates of the Carribean...etc.

Oh I do wish they add offline/online splitscreen for multiplayer...or co-op would be nice!

PS. Please add some damn custom music this time (for Multiplayer, SP has music so no worries), Killzone 2 (and probably KZ3 has it), Warhawk...etc. alot of games has it, so for one of the most anticipated PS3 exclusive not having it would be dumb.

Uncharted 2's multiplayer was weak but the singleplayer was just incredible.

I'm hoping for more of the same on the singleplayer side and a vast improvement on the multiplayer side, to put it plainly.

The multiplayer was fun for a short time, but I agree.
I hope they improve the MP ALOT.

i REALLY liked the uncharted 2 multi beta, but for some reason i never moved onto the retail multiplayer. i love it tho. really unique in the way it plays with people scalling buildings, jumping around, doing stealth kills and the typical cover based gameplay. all seemlessly happening on the fly. never played anything like it, and still havnt.

single player was and still is the best game EVER imo. nothing comes close to it's characters, location diversity, story, gamplay, voice acting, music. closest to perfection a game has come for me. a kid at christmas eve pretty much describes how excited i am about a sequel.

Single player was awesome yes, but it was not without its flaws (imo) which as i have said many times it's concentration on shooting over puzzles, i would prefer it the other way round, just because you have a great control method for shooting, does not mean you got to OD on it.. exploration>>>>>>>>>puzzles>>>>>>>>shooting

Have you been on multiplayer recently though? as in the last 3 months? they have in my eyes left it a train wreck of a multiplayer and dont intend on fixing it, they never give the community answers, only time they tell us anything is when they have updated the playlist

Seriously, if they want (which they do) to take on the daddys on online shooters they need to look after there online model, and change the way they communicate with there community, they say there friends with bungie, and take time out to kick each others arse... maybe bungie can say "this is how you listen to your fanbase" and point them in the correct direction

I can't say I really agree about the characters, story or gameplay - not with the superlatives you're using anyway! - but the production values and overall cinematic feel is pretty much untouched.

i dont agree with that personally. that's the tomb raider gameplay model, and while it may work for THAT series, i dont want uncharted to be tomb raider (despite how many people consider it to be that already) i like the fact puzzles are scarse and they're easily solved, same goes for the level design. i like the fact the game is flawlessly paced. you never get stuck, you never need to check a guide for a solution to a puzzle, you never lose track of where you are in a level, and i dont want that to change. i want to to be an edge of your seat, fast paced rollercoaster ride.

you could argue it's limited becasue of that, but i personally prefer the linearity and focus associated with the way uncharted currently does things. i like breezing through puzzles while still giving you a sense of accomplishment. i like never getting stuck or confused. pacing is everything in a game like uncharted, if it it suddenly threw genuinely difficult puzzles at you that left you scratching your head for an hour, or opened up exploration that alowed you to get lost, that perfect pacing that previous games had suddenly becomes a bit of a mess.

i LOVE uncharted becasue it's uncharted. i dont want it to change. and certainly not to become dude-raider. it's a third person shooter with light platforming and puzzles. always has been, and hopefully, always will be.

This!

I always look at Nathan Drake as a young modern version of Indiana Jones, and hopefully, that will never change.

You have a valid point i suppose, never looked at it like that, i do think though tweaking the puzzles and amount of shooting and exploration would make it a better game, but a better game for me, selfish yes :)

LOL

About killing, I loved some of the stealth kills in Uncharted 2, I hope ND makes new and brutal ones in U3, hopefully add in some nice Jason Bourne type of attacks in the melee :D

Yeah, dumb and simple games aren't for me, I personally play games for a challenge and mental exercise. Nice to know fans of Uncharted only want a simple experience.

I swear to you if I even feel someone behind me ther's no measure to how fast I will bring this fight to your doorstep.
