Inscrit depuis 7535 Joursfirst i played the training mission,
which youve all seen the videos by now, however, the game looks friggen incredible!!!
However, i spent most of my time in deathmatch, split screen, were there was no loss of detail at all by having two players... the game is incredibly fun.. its not halo at all...
moves slower, guns work differently, and it deffinetly feels like goldeneye
the coolest moment is when i used the hologram secondary on one of the smgs my friend was shooting it while i was behind the corner, so when he was mad and cursing and having to reload i came arround and got him. He was saying that the damage is terrible.. but i had to tell him that he wasnt shooting me!!!
the desert stage is pretty cool, graphically ok, but the tower stage (ice) is beutiful, this time we played with 14 bots all on dark agent... and we got OWNED.. i had to put it down a notch... and i have only one thing to say... SUPER DRAGON... my true love.. =) the zoom in the game works very diff then halo.. u press the left trigger to zoom.. the harder you press the better you zoom... like you lightly squeeze and it zooms in x1, then x3, and finally x4 for the superdragon..
and harpooning someone with the 74 (ak47) is pretty damn awesome
overall cover and roll work hella fast and plays super good in multiplayer..
the most important thing about me playing the game was that it felt i played for 15mins when the manager told me it was closing time already!!! so from 6:30pm to 9:00pm i was completely in tranced...
get PDZ, its not Halo, its PDZ, you WILL have fun if you dont keep on wanting it to be HALO... enjoy it for what it is and youll probally never play another 360 game for a while... i feel bad for my Call of Duty 2 and PGR3 copies that i bought too... =)
if you guys have any questions jsut ask..
Inscrit depuis 7539 JoursThats the first time I have heard about that hologram secondary function, should be alot of fun.
Have you played your COD2 copy yet, if so, is it as good?
Dirty South UK
Inscrit depuis 7535 Joursif you watch all the video reviews from ign and gamespot... it really does give the game justice... because when you finish a level your heart i beating out of control and your sweating like a pig... even if the game is linear... its an incredible game

Inscrit depuis 7501 JoursWhat was the AI like?
Any slow down?
Thanks
Inscrit depuis 7535 JoursThe AI was good, not as dumb as in easy... the dark agent ai was smart.. not like COD2 on veteran, but very good... however, in multiplayer putting bots on dark is freaking great, a real challenge!!!!
no slow down in split screen with 15 bots.. or none with the grenades going off.. the eb manager claims it only slows down in cut scenes.. but the more i played the game yesterday i realised this game if deff a multiplayer game... the co-op mode and deathmatch are deff the seller for this one..
so after playing pdz and cod2, ive come to this:
If you want a great single player mode... COD2 is for you... if you want multiplayer.. PDZ
with co-op 2 player and deathmatch/dark ops... but COD2 multiplayer was fun too...
good thing i get my box in a day and six hours.. midnight =)
