Damn...I just watched some new videos on IGN, and all I can say is this game looks next-gen, yet its on current-gen consoles. Hell, this game looks better than some of the 360 launch titles...amazing.

i saw a cool trailer on this site, that for some reason was quickly taken down. the gfx where amazing for an xbox and so much stuff was destructible, defiantly looked next gen. but it's EA so I’m sure they will managed to mess it up some how ;) .

Looks like your average PS2 attempt at a halo beater. Definately not next gen but has some nice effects, like the explosions and gun effects.

Just to let you know Scarface, games like Battlefield 2 beat Halo by a mile...and this game looks alot more next-gen than Halo or Halo 2 does...you don't see destructible enviorments and such In Halo do you? No...

I really don't understand you...a new FPS game comes along, and you automatically call it a "wanna-be Halo killer"...it looks alot better than Halo, in fact, lots of games do...yet you still compare. Have a little more of an open mind and you might see that Halo is just an average FPS game.

As I've mentioned before Black is no dout using alot of tricker to make it look next-gen, however I'm betting that after you've played it for a while you'll start to become all too aware of the tricks.

Who cares...the tricks are what makes it stand out among the bunch. And like every game, im sure I will get bored of it...and you will too. Thats how games are, you play them for a while and then they get boring and you want something new.

Average FPSs don't get played for the entire life of a system. People still play Halo 1 link ups and Halo 2 on LIVE is still unbelievably popular. How can you say that black looks more next gen than Halo. None of them look next gen... They are running on 5 year old hardware. Halo 3 will be the first real next gen shooter IMO, and that will be the game that Sony will be trying to beat.

Both of them are FPS games, one just has alot more features than the other...

And the reason Halo gets played on Live so much is because its pretty much the only mainstream FPS game on Live. I just find it silly that people compare literally EVERY game to Halo, like the Halo games are God or something. And yes, im sure Sony will try to beat Halo 3 with the next Killzone...
