This is why PGR3 so far is my most wanted Xbox360 title. It is unbelievable what Bizzarre did with PGR3, even more impressive it was an upgraded engine from PGR2. I cannot say enough nice things about PGR3. Next gen graphics, next gen sound, great features and excellent online gameplay. Maybe a sparse SP to a degree, but I am an online gamer due to the replay online has over SP. Great game--next to a current gen title it kicks butt.
The amazing cockpit view is what makes the fact that this game is at 30fps not mean a thing.
But about the view distance in PGR3, I do get trees in the back poppin up out of the blue, it's not a big deal though, but I did notice it.
It's probably a "feature" only my weird x360 get's offcourse....
The driving experience is amazing, especially the cockpit view.
I always used to use the 3rd "person" view cause I hated the other available views, but they really nailed it with this cockpit view, and I hope other racing games will pick this up too.
Lol, I have a friend who is pretty much a pc fanboy, but everytime I go over to his place, I have to bring my x360 with pgr3, and he can't get enough of it, and that means something!
It would have been nice to get tiling enabled too. And some trees are uuuuugly. Besides no tiling it seems either some TVs -- or how they are setup -- have more jaggies than others. (I wonder if this will be a theme... TV scaling and setup impacting the impression people get... they still have not fixed the local walmart here).
In all minor complaints.
