This pisses me off too because that damn game has ALOT of potential for a damn good sequel, but its not doing too well over there in japan which might cause them to just forget about the whole thing altogether.
Don't get me wrong, I love JRPGs and I think I've played nearly all that was offered in the PS1 and the early PS2 years but none of them are anything superb but just cheap rehashes of other titles.
At least this time around Enchant Arm has 3 male protagonist...hehehe with a fruity character its bound to get interesting!
How do you know the story is good, unless of course you understand japanese.
This gaming started off as a must have game for me, but now it's lost its charm for some reason or another, im sure i will get it eventually, if it ever makes it way to western shores that is.
I remember who said it looks like a good ps2 game it was the morons at 1up the same idiots that said dead or alive 4 sucked and gave it like a 6.1 or something like that.
Its a good, ambitious entry into next gen gaming, considering it was a launch title but lacks many of the production values that it would need to get a flawless score from reviewers. Not only that the outside world and I agree with this has a sorta empty feel to it, but hey its a launch title so who cares. Someone described it as running through a painting (and I must admit its an accurate description of it, but the game has a great foundation to have a strong sequel good enough to compete with a final fantasy or dragon quest IF the developers bother putting in the proper time for a second.
Hell they are the otogi creators they can sure as hell do some production value if they put in the time enchant arm can be the next big thing in rpgs. I admit that right now it isn't anything more than just a fun next gen rpg that has loads of potential. To be honest nothing can be said about the game that would change my opinion of it if it comes to the usa its catching an immediate pre-order.
I don't understand japanese, but from what I've seen I don't see how the story couldn't be one that interests me it looks like an anime and I'm pretty much a nerd when it comes to anime so its all good :)
^^ Bobox 360, cette année mais quand??? ^^
But I've really like what I've been able to play so far. It's certainly not a perfect game, but it's still an ok to good jRPG. And for a launch RPG, especially done by a small team, it's a very good surprise. Compare it to the launch jRPG for the japanese lauch of the PS2...
