You say we're getting there? Oh, fine.
Any minute now...
Hopefully it will be less than the usual cost ..
I say that they should make the game more expensive from the beginning and skip the fees, OR they could just give you one of those cards like Microsoft is doing with its live.
Give out Huxley Online cards to buy at local gaming stores and type the password in and you are online for a month for the next card you buy.
I am no way in hell paying for both XBL and Huxley fee its dumb. Besides I dont have Visa, MasterCard on my creditcard so I couldnt pay the fee anyway, only my dad has it and he refuse to lend out his number (hes scared as any other parents out there). Though the 360 will have campaign so I might buy it for the campaign to see how the game is. IF it was truly worh it I would try and solve the creditcard stuff so I can pay monthly for it.
*EVERYTHING YOU KNOW ABOUT DARK SECTOR IS PROBABLY WRONG*
*A NEW FORM OF CHANGE*
Hopefully it will be less than the usual cost ..
New rule: If you don't have an HDTV then you cannot comment on the graphics of X-Box 360 games.
Want to come over and play with my Wii?.....hey where are you going?
I'd say the concept is unique enough that it's still not certain how people will like paying montly for this game. Personally, I am interested in Huxley; but perhaps not enough to pay 15/mo for it--hopefully it won't run that steep.
PC version will be multiplayer only
Xbox 360 version will be single and multiplayer
Xbox 360 players will go up against PC players on multiplayer
There is one catch to playing single player, you need to be a member of Xbox Live Gold, even if you are not playing multiplayer

(pretty queer the site mentions Gamespy as the source and wouldn't link the article)
It doesn't bother me as i've always and will always be on gold. There's a lot of people (kids, students) who will lose out
Don't touch that Squirrels nuts!
Thing is it costs a lot to keep these servers going lag/problem free not only this..
If you think of WoW 6 million users each paying £8 a month you soon realize just how much profit can be made from these games..
The thing with MMO's is you can only afford to support one (probably 2 at the most) it really depends what type of games your into. (MMO's aren't for the casual gamers anyways)
ON topic: Kinda sux that you have to be online to play the singelplayer part, wtf?
And whats up with that "pc will play with x360 p(l)ayers", if this plays like an FPS there is no way in hell you would want to face a KB/mouse dude with the controller... Blah!
I dream in 1080p

360 = 299 + 100 HDDVD = 399 | Wii = 199
Wii60 = 399 + 199 = 600$
Just to clear up a bit the game is slated for 360 about a month to 2 months after the pc release.
some people consider the fee on 360 unfair because of xbox live i would say it was unfair if you had to have xblive but you can play it on the free silver membership also. the actual game server is not a microsoft xbox live hosted server they host the own specialized server which require alot of up keep.
you get your normal channels on tv for free aslong as you keep paying your tv licence, you get sky and cable for an extra fee for the extra quality and uniqueness noone moans about having to pay more on top of there tv licence for extra channels MMO's work the same way unless they are so instanced they bearly resemble MMO's like GW's
i like the look of this game and will probably get it on both 360 and pc so me and my fiancee can play it.
