882mb, not huge--but a lot bigger than the Lost Planet demo..aparently has offline/16 player online in the demo..96%
Glad its on live :)
Don't touch that Squirrels nuts!
There are two tracks in the demo, and two riders--one set for online, one for offline--16 players. There's one race track and one city track (tokyo)--the city track is nicely detailed. Won't really comment much on handling right now--but it seems to have a pretty nice control scheme..
Overall I dig it..I plan on picking it up when it comes out..
16 players for the XBL mode btw.
Won it on 2nd go, but I do know the tracks!
Seems harder to wheely this time round.
will now venture on to live
Don't touch that Squirrels nuts!
Won one out of four. Had to stop because on the last lap of the last race.
Some guy genuinely asked what button you had to press for breaks (he had already done 3 races of 3 laps) . I nearly pissed my pants :D ... great fun .
Don't touch that Squirrels nuts!
I swear i never been so bad at a game in all my life.. first race i must of fell off like 100 times, then i realised your supposed to use the left stick to accelerate/decelerate..
I'm not too impressed with the graphics, but the no lag is really good..
All in all i don't think this game if for me cause i suck so bad..
I do like Moto Gp though and may invest!?
Don't touch that Squirrels nuts!
Ok i lost .. but only just !
Don't touch that Squirrels nuts!
The acceleration is waaaaayyy too sensitive, i'm not used to playing games with such sensitive controls.
Yeah thats right it's the games fault.. :S
Don't touch that Squirrels nuts!

The shadowing and the overall lighting is the best of all. The bikes while looking good, I did notice some little faults. I noticed the chain connected to the rear gear in the "extreme" bike didn't even move, I was dissapointed for that.
The environments are fairly well detailed, yet the crowd on the side is still 2D. Oh and I did not notice the "boring" envrionments Blim likes to talk about.
Enough of graphics. I do think I'm buying this game if the "screen cutting" (i just can't remember) is solved by release, because that frankly did bother me. The gameplay is what I expected, MUCH refined from GP3 and back to its GP1 roots. You can fall from the bike much easier, which I love. And the gameplay itself is just solid and way more GP1 style. I did not try it online but supposed it works just fine.
Now, I'm not expecting big scores for this game (mostly in the 8's range) as it frankly is just a port, BUT I do recommend it for those who didn't buy GP3 as this game is THE REAL GP3. Other than that, I do think this game is more of a 50 bux game, not 60, but I'll pay them anyways, and they better start to work on a REAL next gen title in the series :D
