Since 6731 DaysIn the game you take the side of evil instead of good. You play as a sorcerer who has control of several minions. You can cast spells and command you minions to kill/plunder/and destroy fear in the hearts of villages. You can cast spells and use the souls of poor peasants you mangle to create more creatures. Your hordes can be upwards of 60+ in later levels and your creatures get stronger and can pick up and self equip themselves. That pretty much sums things up.
