Folks are reporting problems downloading the Halo 3 Beta via Crackdown this morning. We have alerted the appropriate Live authorities and they are taking care of the problem as we speak. More news as it comes in.

Since 7741 DaysPlease have a little patience. I don't know what's going on, so don't ask me. However, I can understand that all of you are excited, and were looking forward to playing the Halo 3 Beta. Seeing how the things are still grayed out int he CrackDown menu, for instance, can be frustrating, I'm sorry about that. However, due to all the repeat topics regarding the issue, the forums are getting swamped. So please, try to remain calm as the problem gets solved.
In the mean time, I suggest people follow the instructions, and try to download the Beta at a somewhat later point. As Achronos already stated:
Please note that, for obvious reasons, downloading the Halo 3 beta may be slower than normal downloads as a lot of people are attempting to pull it down. Please be patient - things are working, but it is a big download and lots of you want it.
EDIT: Bungie is aware of the situation: as quickly was stated here
"here"=>With any luck this will be a short delay. People enetering the Beta through other methods - Friends and Family, Rule of Three and so on, are unaffected.

De notre côté, tout ça nous fait bien plaisir. Non pas parce que cette histoire de graphismes foireux doit bien faire chier les fanboys (enfin si, un peu), mais surtout car cette affaire pourrait ouvrir les yeux à certains éditeurs qui investissent à fond pour être à la pointe de la technologie, mais ne font aucun effort pour être au top du gameplay.
