2012-02-02 22:04:30 Alan Wake PC Dated, Screened people who start playing this now, pay attention when ally wakey starts to dock on bright falls. the watter effect quality and the sense of depth is really well done for a game that doesn't even use water physics or water in any given time. |

2012-02-02 22:13:45 Also be prepared for repetitious environments, combat situations, enemies and gameplay. It'll all look nice tho. Wonder if the PC version will have better shadows? The dithering in the xbox version was awful. |

2012-02-02 23:12:51 Can't wait to see this incredible game on my 580. Easily my favorite game this generation judging from the consistent play I've logged into it. Gears, Uncharted 2 and 3, WoW, Halo all took a back seat to this game. Sadly I never have come back to Uncharted 3 yet. I lost interest with the 2nd one in the same way and took months to complete it but I always keep coming back to AW. |

2012-02-03 00:20:37 It was a fairly boring game, the only thing good gong for it was the impressive lighting effects and wind effects it had. Other than that it was dull and a far cry from Max Payne greatness. I will admit I got some good laughs at how bad the facial animations were. |

2012-02-03 06:36:27 AW easily has the most intense combat I can think of. Edge-of-your-seat kinda stuff, IMO. Incredible lighting/atmosphere, and creepy. I never got tired of the environs, personally. I mean, it's not like he's globe-trotting- he's on vacation in the North-east. The game-play mechanics are near perfect too... --- |

2012-02-03 09:23:38 Very atmospheric graphics and quite well done story, but the same gripe I had with Doom 3 - most fights start by enemies spawning from behind .. it gets pretty ridiculous. |

2012-02-05 05:59:28 Obviously it will look sharp and screen tear should not be a problem. I wonder if the game is optimized well based on PC requirments. |
