...If you can't dazzle them with brilliance, baffle them with stupidity...
STREET FIGHTER 4, BRING IT ON!
I sort of.. got Galaxy and was on my way out of the store... and... somehow... managed to buy Assassin's Creed aswell.
I'm at my studio now so I'm really just trying to work while fondling the Galaxy box with my feet and licking Altair's plastic head, but I'll get 'round to playing it eventually. Put some actual weight behind my opinion of it.
I honestly believe I'll enjoy it plenty regardless. It might not be a life altering experience, but I already have one of those in my possession as of today, so some basic kickass assassin action is the perfect complementary game.
I loved King Kong after all. I prolly already said but I really did, and that game had critics even more divided. I'm not too worried about this.
Street Fighter 4... Believe.
Bring on Lost Odyssey!
I am not 100% sure but more or less it was like that.
like konami lol
STREET FIGHTER 4, BRING IT ON!
GoW, War3, Halo, MYST, Civilazation
Bring on Lost Odyssey!
I'll stick to believing the gaming sites.
The ps3 version's performance totally hurts the game experience. The Xbox 360 version isn't perfect it has its performance hiccups here and there as well, but none that I believe truly hurt the enjoyability of the game on the same level as the ps3 version of the game does. In that regard the 360 version is quite a bit better than the ps3 version I think. With the huge emphasis on nice fluid movements in this game it should feel like it has a set rhythm to it when you are playing if that makes any sense and the performance of the ps3 version just constantly gets in the way of that.
Now I know the ps3 isn't a weak console. I know that for a fact, but when playing the ps3 version compared to the 360 version it feels as if you are playing the game on a weaker machine and when you try the 360 version it feels like you are playing on a more powerful machine. To better explain what I mean by that I would say look at the 360 version of Call of Duty 2's performance compared to the 360 version of Call of Duty 4's performance. COD4 not only looks better, but it also performs better casting COD2 in a bad light.
COD2 may have seemed a lot more manageable around the 360's launch, but now especially after playing COD4, COD2 just feels downright unbearable for me when it comes to consistent performance. I have a very similar impression of the PS3 version of Assassin's creed it feels too clunky compared to the 360 version.

Don't ask any questions just shut up and buy Halo : Ghosts of the Onyx one of the greatest books ever.
pssh! more like electronic gay-ming monthly! amirite
Marumaro for the WIN !!
I haven't experienced any slow down at all, not once. Haven't noticed any 'tearing' either.
But, back to the game. Absolutely brilliant. Some of the clever tricks and features that are in the game, are superb. I've heard criticism in reviews of the combat system, but i think its brill. Very realistic, and it allows you to take a sensible or 'Rambo style' approach. ;)
That game constantly dips well below 60fps. COD4 is locked 60fps constantly for me and thats something I can't say for COD2. COD2 is at 60fps often if not most of the time, but still drops to much lower way too often for my liking and it takes away from the experience.
I recently popped in call of duty 2 before trying call of duty 4 when I got it and the difference in speed is drastic. Call of Duty 2 would get bogged down performance wise pretty often.
What the hell Jolli your 360 is better than mine what gives haha :P I do notice slowdowns in the 360 version, but they are minor I think nothing that takes away from the experience for me. They aren't at all serious, but they are there or maybe its because I'm specifically scrutinizing for any little sign of slowdown. The game is butter smooth about 90% of the time, but then there will be that rare occassion.

Saying you cant find animaton in Japan is like saying you cant find food in Italy
Does anyone else have the one with the statue in it, and does your case have that banner?
It might sound strange, but I'm taking this back and getting the normal edition if nothing's fucked up and they expect me to wanna keep this one. "Collector's Edition" my arse.
I swear I'm bogged down with my games lately. I've bought 3 lately, and when I get stuck on one I move onto another. I'm hoping to beat this, Crysis, and Mario Galaxy by Tuesday. I need some tips!
"For seven hours, all we could do was sit still and listen to them hunting us. All we could do is sit, and wait for Phaethon."

Well I think that I am going to search for a pdf of the regular boxart so that I can change it.
Just if you want to know Simon, here in Spain I know a lot of people who bought the CE and had send their complaints to Ubi. So lets hope it does help a little bit beause I know for sure that Ubi is aware that people are really pissed off.
Not only that, but when Altair is in that blue aura realm, it froze on me.
And Phaethon, the guards outside any city will be on their guard, so you can no pass any guard without that warning signal keep beeping, its an hostile area and guards are on their toes at all cost.
Thats one of my problems though, why does it beep when you have done NOTHING at all :S
Playing: Call of Duty 4, Assassin's Creed - Xbox 360
Mass Effect - Next week!
*A New Form of Change*
I dunno if I should just take it back or wait for a response from Ubi.
