A lot of demos have put me of the final product to be honest, and when i played the final product found it a LOT better than the demo (latest one been the darknes, fantastic game)

Taking a life is not a task to be accepted lightly. While some games trivialize the act, none infuse it with haunting gravity more elegantly than Assassin’s Creed. As you guide Altaïr through his missions, the game transforms you into an angel of death; the puppeteering control scheme and cinematic camera makes every kill feel significant, and every leap of faith a triumph. The gameplay can instantly transform from careful, measured movement to a heart-pounding escape with a dozen city guards on your trail. The chase is enhanced by the seamless integration of free-running, which has you traversing towering spires and residential districts in exhilarating ways you have to see to believe. With its excellent mechanics and surprising story, the only area where Assassin’s Creed leaves itself vulnerable is in the variety of environments and investigation missions. The crowds and architecture provide endless opportunities for experimentation, however, so there are always ways to stay entertained. Death is an inevitable part of life, so make sure you cross Assassin’s Creed off of your to-do list before your time comes. Sooner would be better than later.

First mission + tutorial. Seems reasonable to me. I also didn't think the Saints Row demo gave a poor impression of the overall product at all though.. hell I never would have tried Saints Row without the demo. I never did play it on my own Xbox either, but I know the demo certainly encouraged some friends to play it who otherwise wouldn't have. Especially once you learned how to get outside that little area you were bound to and got some better weapons :)

Early reviews are cute. I will always remember that 9.5 for Sonic the Hedgehog in Play Magazine. :D

(translated: I'll wait for reviews that matter to me.)

Oh but okay. Just having Kristen Bell in there is worth a 9 all by itself. She's in Heroes AND Assassin's Creed, she sure knows how to pick her places to appear.

But yeah, I'm still a bit traumatised about the cancellation of Veronica Mars, just as it started to get back on its Season 1 and 2 feet.

Don't be so sure! They just need to get rid of the pirates (!) and presentation issues with the Sonic Rush series and it'll be claiming those high 9s in notime!

Although prolly not as high as that. :(

I loved Veronica Mars! too bad it was cancelled. what a pity that was.

did anyone see South Park(Guitar Hero Ep) last night? I swear Ubisoft had to of sponsored the show or something. They played those 2min + AC commercials every single time during each commercial break :P
