Hard not to get excited about this: details from neogaf/4chan




- Will be situated in a destroyed New York, which has become almost a jungle.

- Promise the best sandbox fps on the market.

- There will be a limited and Hunter edition of Crysis 3.

- PC, Xbox 360, PS3.

- Out in the spring of 2013.

- April 15 announcement.

yea I guess one of the main selling point of FPS's these days is a New York level....I really wanted this to take plane on a Halo 1 type environment but alas

Crysis 3, main FPS title I am excited for, and now you will go "Maximum Rambow, so excited to see it in action.

And also, FUCK NY, such a piece of shit city to use in games and movies. Why? It is being abused and overused with destruction and shit like that, its annoying.
I was wishing for anything but NY, or US for that matter.

But if they can change it so much that its almost a different city when you look at it, then fine.
If its very alienated and post-apocalyptic, I am fine with it.

And lets hope for not so many cutscenes and no QTEs lol

There is 2 things I want changed for CONSOLES...

1. Native 720p resolution (fuck that blurry crap, i hate it!)
2. Bugfree game.

If they dont, PC version for me again, if my PC is up for it lol

They could just open the level design up and it'd already be 100x better than Crysis 2. The problem with Crysis 2 is hardly NYC.

After Crysis 2 I'm not sure I'll buy it at all. It's going to take more than a one liner that "promises the best sandbox fps on the market." They need to prove it.

Agreed but I think they will come through, I just hope they don't abandon the game after 2 months of support

I think both Bioshock Infinite and Halo 4 will hold the FPS crown well into late 2013

Crysis 3, Halo 4 and if god willing, Killzone 4...the holy trinity of FPS games for me :D

I am playing it ALOT now, BF3 interest failed me lol
Makes me appreciate Killzone 3 more than I did before, so maybe we get to play KZ3 together, if timezones are right lol

I played a demo of the first, did not touch warhead and thought the second was utter toss (music was good though) interest meter on this is just high enough to click on links and read thread..

Make it space now for god sakes! Even jungle is getting boring (better than city sure, but come on).

Alcatraz should just jump on a enemy ship and fly it off to the mothership or something, just go to space, earth sucks with this much potential for Crysis.
Go to LV-426 if it excists lol
